Proud on how tough this team played even down by 18 vs a great offenive team like the Suns, Theus is getting the guys to play better as the season goes on.

Reggie Theus lost the game for the Kings tonight...

Please quit calling god damn time outs at the end of the game if you don't know how to call an appropriate play.

If the play is going to be Ron 1 on 1 with whoever anyways, whats the point?!...

18 seconds left, we have all the momentum!!! why call the time out???
He called the timeouts and they worked, they went on a run we called a time out, this is not his fault.

And it's about 1000% better this year than last. Sure there's mistakes and faulty execution, but they are playing their hearts out at both ends. Coming back like that against the Suns was pretty friggin' amazing. :)

This is what I was talking about...this game was perfect. We kept it close...when they pulled away we came scratching back...we lost by 2 pts. We were competitive (with a really good team) and still made progress towards a high draft pick.

Peopel forget the long string of heartbreakers and buzzer beating losses that broke us last January. Not that this one is going to break us, but there was some of this last year too. At least at Arco. I think its mroe the remnants of the crowd's will than anything to do with the team or coach. Maybe a little of Ron's delusion working in too.

Martin played sluggish and passive tonight. He was never into this game. he looks fatigued and has the last 2 games. I wonder if he is fighting an illness such as the flu or a cold or something.

This team is growing up before our eyes even in this tough loss similar to the home court heart-breaker against another monster, Cleveland. Cisco is not as out-of-control as in the past. He's more poised yet as active on the defensive end as he is looking for cutters (plus of course his own shot) on the other end. Martin might score 30 tomorrow night so I'm not worried one bit about him. Mikki looks like he's rounding into shape and is still a better overall option than Hawes - who is growing up too. Salmons and Beno will have to continue to bring it until Mike Bibby gets back. Douby is proving he has plenty more to learn. As everyone says, Brad needs to stop whining and just play. K9 is K9 so he's not worth Kings fans constantly whining about. Artest is one of the top 2-3 defensive players on the planet (and most players in the NBA would rather guard ANYBODY but him) and the dude is a vital part of this young, growing team. Our rookie coach is learning too, but Reggie is proving he can coach with the big boys. Yes, it would have been nice to have that last time-out and we'll never know if it would have resulted in victory tonight.

We only lost 1 game last January by less than 4 points.

Exhaustion, I'm thinking. He played insane minutes while Ron was out, and looked really worn out on more than one occasion.

Yeah but he is young. A couple of good nights sleep and that should be gone by now. I wish he wasn't among the top players leading the league in scoring. i wonder if that is putting pressure on him to stay on top and when he goes 1-7 he loses confidence therefore losing focus on the game.

Yeah. I would have liked to see the younger PF/Cs get some minutes (like KT's), but I was otherwise fairly content with this game. Lost a close fight to a good team, which is neither the least bit shameful, nor bad for the franchise.

I loved the atmosphere at Arco tonight (well for the last 1 1/5 quarters).

Cisco is starting to get himself into a groove. He’s passing better and he’s starting to take shots that make sense. He and Douby on the court together might not be a good thing (maybe they just need more time together; hopefully they’ll learn to play with the others). Kevin (my man) just seemed out of it tonight. I don’t know what it is, but he seemed stuck in one spot, unlike previous games where he would try to move and try to get the ball…The team is starting to come together (trust) and that just puts a big smile on my face.

If the team wouldn’t get down by so many points maybe we would have gotten a last second timeout. But I’m happy with the game – even though the suns weren’t suns like tonight (if that makes sense). But we showed that we can play together and have fun.

Oh yeah. Since when does Skinner make 3 point shots? And somehow he managed to make his free throws. Man, why couldn’t he make his shots when he played with us. Eh, glad he’s not a King. (I really am. lol)

He's the usual sort of TDM award winner this year: it was a career high for him. Twelve years in the NBA, and he hit his very first one tonight.

And it had to happened when he played us. I don't know what it is about this team that brings the good in the bad players.

I was dissapointed when I saw those empty seats at Arco. I know we're not a playoff team (or barely one) but the way this team is starting to play and coming together and I would really like to see the fans support. :o

i went to the first four games.. i just cant afford it

Unfortunately Suns won't be this bad tomorrow night

yeah well the Kings wont turn the ball over a gazillion times and Kevin is gonna come back from vacation. So it should be a good game. Stupid Jerry lol.

"Allen Iverson wasn't at the 95 allstar game? Well he shoulda been."

If only he wasn't in college.
