Well, he's been absolutely skewered by the NBA media at large so that's understandable. I doubt we'll ever know who called for Malone's firing, who really pushed to draft Stauskas etc but the reality is that whether Vivek pushed those decision himself, was a part of those decisions or just signed off on them, his team has been awful with the added difficulty of shooting itself in the foot and becoming a national joke in the process.
Vivek is clearly an impatient guy who thought it would be much easier to turn the Kings around and have them be a winning team. But I think he's learning. And I think he'll be back to being happy to talk to the media when the Kings are finally playing great basketball again. And I think that happens this season.
