Start Cisco?!

Head is as guilty as Evans & Udrih for dribbling down the shot clock. I think Cisco is struggling coming off the bench because the rotations are never consistent and he doesnt always know his role. With the current starting lineup Cisco will get his fair share of field goal attempts weather it be cutting to the basket, catch and shoot or spotting up. When he gets in a rythm thats when he's at his best. With Dalembert, Greene and Thompson we can afford to let Tyreke guard the smaller quicker pg's and also gives Tyreke a size advantage on the offensive end. I know this has been talked about since last season in numerous threads but why havent we seen a Evans/Garcia starting backcourt yet?!

Id like to see them try it, just to see what would happen.

My speculation is that theyve tried a Reke/ Cisco backcourt in practice, and found it too taxing for Reke to chase around Beno or Head, or even Pooh, among other things. .

Garcia cannot be trusted to bring the ball up and cannot run the pick n roll like Head or Beno. A Garcia/Evans backcourt will put too much of the PG responsibility on Tyreke.

I am however, open to starting Garcia at SF.

No more different starting line ups, please! Cisco is fine where he is at coming off the bench. He lost his shot since the first week of the season and it doesn't want to come back to him, god knows why. Keep the starting unit we have, regardless of the outcomes, I do however want DC in the starting unit, can't lie. Stick with a line up and just go through the motions until a trade or two is made where we can then maybe get a cohesive unit.

It's OK with me if they start Cisco at the 2. But don't do it on my account. Do it if you think he might be better right now. I don't know. I don't have any trouble with Cisco bringing the ball up. He's done it a million times. I just don't know if he would be a real plus over Head or Beno. In my book Beno is the best our other guards. Head has to play guard or nothing. Cisco always has been a good fill at the guards. And he is a much better bet than Tyreke on the jumper.

I figured we would have tried it at least once by now. I could see Cisco pass it to cousins or JT at the elbow and then step back on the screen for a hand off 3.
