Rumor has it league sources say the Heat will not grant him permission to talk with Sacramento - in fact the Heat declined Stan’s invitation to be an analyst during the playoff broadcasts.

One Heat source said Stan asked for time to spend with his family and left the team – they intend to have Stan honor their agreement.

Just a question....

Where has Dave Cowens been lately? I know his run with the Warriors wasn't the best, but he was an excellent defensive player and really taught Vlade how to play big inside when he was with Charlotte. Cowens also got them to the playoffs the majority of the time he was with the Hornets.

I think he might have the same effect with Brad Miller in helping him play bigger down low and not get pushed around so much.

I don't know, it was just kind of a stab in the dark for the sake of being different.

shoot...and while we're at it, we should bring in the college coach for Tennessee, Bruce Pearl to be an assistant coach for us...that guy sweats through his entire suit during the course of a game.
