It's too darned bad my Mavs have got an over-full roster right now, as I wouldn't mind seeing him play a garbage role in Dallas. I've been a fan of Popeye ever since he dominating the defensive glass for the Mavs teams of the early 90's, and I was sad that we traded him away to Golden State, and took away his chance to retire as a Mav...
 
Interesting. This could have been one of the things Petrie's been waiting around for. Popeye and Ostertag, who woulda ever thought these two could be bringing hustle and ugliness of the Kings bench...

Popeye "Sloth" Jones was pretty good back in the 94-95 and 95-96 seasons, when he averaged 10.8 ppg and 10.7 rpg for my Mavs...

It sure feels that way...

Things should hopefully be looking better over the next couple of weeks as we cut Jon Steffanson, buy out Dan Dickau's contract (a bad move, as I think he would have been a perfect hair replacement for Traitor Nash), and work out some kind of contract settlement with Tariq Abdul Wahad and the insurance company...

I am prety sure that being droped by the Wariors is one of the 5 signs that your NBA career is at it's end. Popeye has to know what that giant fork in his back is all about.
