Sonics - to trade #10?

I wonder if they would like Kenny Thomas. He's like a more skilled version of Reggie Evans (w/o all the cheap shots and nut-grabbing), a guy they had some success with.

P.S. Anybody else amused that Seattle, suckass team, apparently wants to KEEP its rotation?

I guess the Sonics feel they're a couple pieces away from being back to the playoffs and based on their play after the trades. That doesn't always transfer into next season though, along with off-season dealings.

I think that's definitely up in the air right now. Outside of Allen/Lewis/Ridnour/Watson/Collison, uncertainity galore. Petro/Swift had a number of good showings, but that's it.

I'm all for getting Shelden.

I thin it's just because they have so many young players. Watson, Ridenour, Petro, Swift, Damien Wilkins, Nick Collison, and Chris Wilcox. If they are going to try to make another push or two during Allen's prime, they have more need for a veteran than the type of player they would get at #10. I'm not sure a Shelden Williams or Rodney Carney would provide them much over the next couple of years.

Wilcox is a RFA. Not guaranteed he's back.
