I'm not a big fan of Mikki's, and the comment left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm a team guy, and winning is what its all about. To whine after a win is telling about a player. I'll give him his due when he plays well, but I won't miss him when he's gone.

According to Sam Amick, Mikki was complaining that he wasn't involved in the offense more. Bad form, Mikki.

Yes, Amick was on the Rise Guys this AM and that's the impression I got from what he said. Amick was also blown away by the fact that Mikki actually sought him out to make those remarks and to tell him he could print the remarks. It was obvious that Amick's reaction was, "WTF?"

If you're Mikki Moore I would be fearful no matter who was the coach.
When Ron Artest muttered something about coach not having enough plays for him except in the post a few games ago, there was a red flag there as a potential problem for us. When Mikki Moore abruptly seeks to renew the issues he had with the coaches at the start of the year...Mikki has proven to be an odd mix of rah rah team guy and ego this year. After a decade of scraping just to stay in the league, he has one middling year and all of a sudden he's going to be a guy prone to complaining about his role? A year agoi he would have been happy just to have the contract.

Absolutely.
I'm not sure what could have prompted him to have this mild outburst of ego. I suspect no one will say much about this and it will be quickly forgotten. Hope so. Guys are always moaning and groaning about not being involved enough. He was just stupid enough to seek out Amick and speak his piece. He sounds intelligent when he gives an interview but I probably have overestimated him.
I suppose we'll see if there is any backlash in the minutes for Mikki for tonight's game. Amick may be backtracking but enough was said by Moore to get it into the paper. For this game, I wouldn't mind seeing more KT(I know) or Justin Williams and less of Mikki just to see what reaction that gets.

IMHO. I don't think from the beginning of the year even with bibby hurt we would EVER be a top 5 pick maybe not even top 10. Now that we seem to be getting better as opposed to last year. So that being said what do you do? Those 4 guys you mentioned weren't coming to Sacramento no matter how we are playing now because face it we just aren't that bad. No one could have expected Miller to do an about face from last year. No one could have known Salmons would be such an impact player this year or that Garcia would come through in clutch situations and start being a vital part of the team. No one could have known that with Bibby hurt that a guy named Beno would come in and just catch right on to what Theus wants to do. This team is getting better and if it does continue we will NOT get a top 10 pick.
So I ask you this if we have no chance of a top 10 lets say we are in the 13 to 17 range. Why not hope for the playoffs. Its a difference of just a few draft positions and Theus as well as us fans could use a turn around like that from last year.
