Artest featured a new haircut Friday, a Mohawk that surely will spark more heckles in the Motor City. That is, unless he's bald by today, which was the original plan.
"I just can't wait to get (the Mohawk) off," Artest said. "I've got to cut this off real fast. We were just playing around, me and Mike (Bibby)."

I really have mixed feelings now. When Grant told Ron about Jerry's vow on the air to get a mohawk if the Kings win 7 in a row, the gleam in Ron's eye was unmistakable. He took it as a challenge. The gauntlet has been thrown down...and I'm sure the entire team knows now that they alone could be responsible for Jerry Reynolds in a mohawk. That's Kings history, baby!
