Just wondering about how things are going with Brian ...

#1 - Not fully recovered from stomache virus
#2 - Playing, despite wrists and thumb bandaged on both hands
#3 - Heard today on radio - not practicing due to shoulder problems

I think he's headed towrds more playing time rather than none ... probably why he's getting limited minutes.

Man, we need this guy .... but, not at the expense of making matters worse or even losing him for the season.

Hang in there Brian .... only 2 games in the next 9-days.

I was more concerned about Mobley watching him limping around the court at the end of the game last night.....

Didn't know Skinner's shoulder was hurting. Seems like an opportune time to get a few days off, rest, and work on a few things in practice.

We have just got to get a healthy team into the playoffs one of these years. Is that really so much to ask for? :)

The Kings have today and tomorrow off. Then next week, they have 4 days off. I hope during those time off, Brian heals well along with Bobby and Brad.

Get better soon, guys!!

They didn't really go into any detail about Skinner's shoulder ....

Just that he was missing practice .... good - the rest and time-off will be more then welcomed.

We'll probably hear more about his condition later today.

I mentioned in another thread that Brian has actually missed far more games than Webber has over the past 7 years. Some were no doubt coach's decisions, but I seem to recall a lot of IR time for him as well. Has a bit of a problem staying healthy, which makes him a prototypical King of course.

Sprained thumbs can really linger and mess your game up, even for a non-scorer like Skinner. I think another part of it is that we've played some bigger teams where he's ben physically overmatched at times and I think the opposition is picking up on the fact that if you bring right at him he's probably going to do something about it, so they're adjusting to that for now.

oh good, so skinner, BIBBY and cat can get some much needed rest.

i'm hoping this is a nice little battery charge before the playoffs :)

Guess This Makes Up ...

For those pre-season games played in China

Looking back at Houston's schedule, they had two stretches where they played 2 games in 5 days (4 days off between each game).
