Sixers @ Kings Game Thread

I definitely want Chris to do well. Score 50, get a triple double, get 20 rebounds, whatever. It doesn't matter. I want him to do well while we beat some philadelphia behind ;)

Just a thought, I feel like Bibby will get out of the slump tonight. :)

Hey, here's a thought...the Sixers are trying to buy out Webb's contract...why not bring him back if they do?? At least it would give me, not to mention alot of OTHER Kings fans, something to feel good about.

This has actually been brought up in the Personnel Moves forum.

I cannot imagine any scenario under which Webber would agree to come back to Sacramento or under which Petrie would even make the offer. The ship sailed.

The next time I see Webb's Kings jersey in Arco I want it to be as it's raised into the rafters, right next to Mitch Richmond's.

Yeah, I'd tend to agree with you...but on a lesser note, Corliss kinda was dealt a similar hand from management and returned. Hmm...our management seems to really cut the ties with former players quite well. Heard from Vlade lately?? Christie?? Oh well, business is business. Good to see former players from the 'good ole' days' still around...Tank Thompson, Henry Turner, Harold Pressley, to name a few.

The Sixers looked awful last night. Except for Andre Miller who actually played as well as I've ever seen him.

Korver couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

And Webber. It was just sad. He looked beaten down and sat on the bench a lot.

And another TDM goes to Matt Barnes playing against a former team. I hope he's got it out of his system.

Carney the rookie also played well, most likely the best player for the sixers; shot 16 for 22 for 24 pts, 8 rebs ( 5 on off), and had a steal. He could really burn us today to go along with Iggy but knowing how up down a rookie is he might just stink up the joint.

Amen to that!! Webber absolutely needs to someday have his number hung in the annals of Sacramento lure.

My main reason for not wanting to see Webber return is because of the lack of respect some "fans" would show him.

Vlade is in regular touch with several people within the Kings organization. The Kings organization is well respected throughout the league for a lot of reasons. There is a sense of family here that a lot of teams cannot even begin to duplicate. The Maloofs and their organization reach out to the community, get their players involved, etc.

I hope you are right about this one:p , but as for Chris getting a triple-double on us, I don't want us to look like losers..

Bibby usually plays pretty well when he has something to prove/some attachment to the game (Playing in Arizona, etc), so hopefully playing infront of his Pops tonight will do the same.

Webber will be hit or miss, IMO. He'll have a great game or he'll have a bad one since he's trying so hard.

Honestly, there is nothing better then when Piks is on his game. One of the better Game Thread intro's you have posted in years. (and by no way does that mean others were bad, this was even better then your normal good ones)

I think, the fact... because of our team status right now, it allows the true Piksism's to come out.

To many good one liners to address. Cwebb is going to kill us tonight if he plays, also don't like the vibe around our team right now. It could get ugly so fasten the belts but in any case. GO KINGS!

Watch after all this weeks talk Ron goes for 39, Bibby scores about 28 and is 80% from 3pt land.

bibbys gonna play the worst game of his career today, his gonna suck so bad his gonna hit like 2 of his 40 attempts from the field his gonna have 20 turnovers as well...

;)

Honestly is there anything better the Webbs smile? Just makes you want to smile back.

I hope he has a great game tonight!

Can you guys update the score on this thread too? I'm in Dallas and can't see the game. Just wanted to be here with all the homies!!! Hope all of you had a very Merry Christmas!
