Ok, I guess since I have a losing mentality Iʻll just start being a Blazers fan then, cause crap I already live in Portland, why the **** should I go for a losing franchise?

Do you think PDA/Vivek have a grasp on what team chemistry is yet? About 3 months ago they couldʻnt of cared less about "team chemistry".

They are obviously going through a learning curve and had to learn the hard way...I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope that they let Karl coach for these next four seasons. There is no beneficial value to shutting Cousins down the rest of the year, he needs to get familiar with his coach and his schemes first and foremost.

There are many more cons to shutting Boogie down than there are pros (if there are any, besides avoiding potential injury), so no.

This thread you made is kind of pro-tanking. That's the only problem that I have with it. This team has gone through enough losing seasons and this community deserves better. I live in Sacramento. I see first hand the profound effect that this team has on our town, both on an individual scale as well as in a business sense. The damages and cons of promoting "tanking" are far worse than you can fathom, being that you live in Portland. This team needs to try and win every game. They don't need to shut down their star players who aren't dealing with career-threatening injuries, for ultimately no good reason. That's not what winners do.

A difference of 3 games between the 5th pick and the 8th pick
5th spot odds at top 3 29.1%
8th spot odds at top 3 9.9%
So while I want them to develop and play hard for Karl, if it is this close down to the last couple of games, I wouldn't mind tanking a couple later on.

Most likely going to have a 9.9% shot to 29.1%
But I can't recall us getting lucky since Pervis, we even had 4 firsts one year and nothing. I think Owens may of been third but I don't recall our record then.
Hopefully we finally catch a break.

I still think Corbin was a strategic tank job. GK gets to come in right before a brutal road trip and western contenders for the month of march.
And after that, its a battle of the tanks schedule. We finish off with Utah 2x, Lakers 2x, Denver and Minnasota. All will be on the top 10 in the draft, and we get to finish the year off against them.
