Sergio Rodriguez thread num 2

ok look stats lines can be incredibly misleading... going by the numbers i agree with you that "ON PAPER" it looks awesome....

unless......

you actually watched the game like i did.... sergio is a mess.... he tries to iso his defender way to often.... which results in him running the shot clock down to the point where his only option is to shoot.... which in turn leads to a terrible shot.... thus in my book is as good as a TO!!! and going by what i saw last night he had as many TO's as he did ast's....

dont get me wrong he made some good plays and a few good shots... he HAS skill....

but he doesn't look to do whats best for the team each time or tries to do to much or be flashy... and mostly looks out of control and selfish...

plus hes a terrible defender!!! his steals were the result of both teams playing like garbage... and being totally careless with the ball

yep, stats are misleading...if he continues play like that soon would be a benchwarmer.

this is where you begin to question paul westphal's decisions as a coach...

why on earth does he keep giving sergio rodriguez so much playing time?

the guy only plays one speed, is sloppy, selfish, makes bad decisions, takes bad shots, drains the clock...

he sucks.

And yet he is also the only other PG on the roster right now along with Beno. Who was worse. So there's your answer.
