Seattle/Sac

Seattle outgoing:
Rashard Lewis
Nick Collison

Sacramento outgoing:
Shareef Abdur-Rahim
Kenny Thomas
Vitaly Potapenko

I wish this could happen. the rebounding we need and better offense.

I'd like it too, but it's not going to happen. Unloading Kenny will take a lot of giving on our part and getting a guy like Lewis and then Collison to a lesser degree is going to take Artest and probably KMart or so. Kenny's contract is so bad that is might take 2 relatively good contracts (good production for low cost and now many years) in SAR and Artest to move him especially in the West.

Yeah, this would be a dream for the Kings. Petrie would have to drug the Sonics brass to ever get THIS trade by them.:D 'Woo Hoo, hey guys, look...here's Kenny Thomas, ready to play his azz off for you guys...he's an All-Star!'...as he pours another round of vodka for everyone at the table.

With the way he has been playing, Nick Collison has been as close to untouchable for a role player as you can get. Think of him as the David Lee of the Seattle Supersonics, in a sense. Many teams would kill for him, but the odds of getting him are 0...at this point, at least.

Rashard Lewis is an interesting proposition, but again, I'm not so sure if the Sonics want Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Kenny Thomas, two players with noticeable big men flaws, and two players who may also stunt the growth of their promising big men such as Chris Wilcox.

I would like to see a trade involving Wilcox, he aint the best but hes better than what we got and i believe he would help us a lot with our PF struggles.
