Scenario #2: Do You Do It?

Reports today are that Milwaulkee is now willing to entertain offers for Bogut (the constant injuries no doubt playing a factor) as long as a team is willing to take Stephen Jackson along with him. They also are sitting on several of our old personnel (Beno, Brockman).

Again ignoring exact financial details and assumign a third tema will get involved if necessary, if this was the cost would you:

our #1 this year if in lottery
Hickson
Hayes

for

Bogut
Jackson
Brockman

---------------------------------------------

Option #2 -- what if teh deal could be expanded to effectively undo the Salmosn trade? Would you:

our #1 this year if in lottery
Hickson
Hayes
Salmons
Jimmer

for

Bogut
Jackson
Brockman
Beno

Jackson is a deal killer. Has been a problem every where he has been.
Giving up a #1 this year is a deal killer. To say nothing about Boguts continuous injuries.

You can't trade back to back picks so this years can't be traded because next years could go to the Cavs and technicial this years could go to the Cavs if bricks miracle happens in which case the pick would be for 2014. A deal can be worked out at draft time, but not made official till the next league fiscal year.

Ditto! I keep repeating this, and people keep ignoring it.

Only other way is to redo the pick with the Cavs so the restriction is lifted and they argree to the pick in 2 years.

True, but what's the incentive for the Cav's? I doubt they'd do it just to be nice guys. If I'm them, I'd play the odds that the Kings make the playoff's next season, unless we want to sweeten the pot of course.

As tempting as it would be to undo the Salmons deal, and get get Jackson (who I've always loved), I wouldn't do this. I just don't like a frontcourt of Bogut/DMC especially w/ Bogut's injuries. I also think giving up our lotto pick is too much to give with little to gain here.

I will definitely do option 1 if they take one of Jimmer, IT, or MT instead of our #1 pick.

Bogut and Jackson will definitely make this team a playoff team.
