IT smiles a lot and is small...DMC is the opposite.
...I don’t want DeMarcus Cousins yelling obscenities to people in the crowd as much as the next guy. It’s stupid. It’s pointless. But if that is his biggest fault, I can live with it...
Just thought I'd stop in and share my opinion, which certainly is as valid/ invalid as anyone else's.
I suggest we meet back here in 24 hours, I have a feeling tomorrow will be interesting.
OMG just looked at Hoopshype and the Last 7 "Rumors" posted are all Quotes from Sam's article
All from USA Today sports
Really Seven qoutes in a row from the same Article?
I'd like to know: Why didn't Cousins just say, "No, the report is not true. I did not do that." It's a simple answer to a simple question.
If you take your kids the game, of course you would hope that they don't see that type of ugliness from a player. You're not going to a R-rated flick. You're going to a basketball game. Speaking of R-rated language, we all see Jason Thompson do the repeated, "F me, F me, F me, F me" every single game, with the "F" clearly articulated. He's not 15 anymore. You just wonder what his parents think when they see his foul mouth every game. I don't know why the coaches and organization don't tell him to clean up his act.
And I have the feeling I'm going to be righteously pissed off if all of a sudden this becomes more about proving Amick was right (at the expense of throwing DMC under the bus) than about the true relevance of the matter to begin with. I hope I'm wrong.

Amuck wrote this to lobby DMC off the all-star team. It hd a very weird article.
And when I've sat within a few rows of the court at Kings games I have heard expletives from all sorts of players that would make a sailor blush. Goes with the territory.
Really think Sam Amick blew chunks on this one. Hope it is water under the bridge soon, and I hope Bruski just drops it and looks the other way from here on.
Are you new to sports? New to competition?I'd like to know: Why didn't Cousins just say, "No, the report is not true. I did not do that." It's a simple answer to a simple question.

Are you knew to sports? Knew to competition?
You go to a HS basketball practice/game you'll hear repeated F words. College game, the same. NBA game, the same. NFL, the same, NHL, the same. MLB, the same. Soccer, the same. Pro's, college, weekend warriors at your local gym, pickup at the park, all the same. Why? It's a part of competition, has nothing to do with how you've been raised. The difference between basketball and other sports is how close the fans are to the action, yet that's not the players fault. Get that close in any sport and your delicate little ears might hear something you wouldn't hear at a family picnic.
And to single out JT? Why? Countless players use bad language and not all that quietly, from stars to the 12 man, across sports, across level of play, yet suddenly you question JT's upbringing? His parents did something right, actually. They raised a guy who made it to the top 1% of his profession in arguably the most competitive sport in the nation.
Exactly!Amick actually picked Cousins on his list of Western reserves last week: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...game-western-conference-roster-picks/4459847/
Comes with the territory. If Boogie wants to be a star, then he has to know and understand the media scrutiny that comes with it. I doubt what he did was all that different than behavior that a lot of NBA players display on the court. However, with his past, and his emerging stardom, an "obscene gesture" towards the fans becomes news.
This is all assuming he actually DID what Amick said he did and not just making it up.
