Warriors sports talk radio having a full-blown meltdown and it is delicious. Might need to bring back VFTOS for the next game thread
The more I listen the more I can’t believe it!!
This is the fanbase of the team that won the nba championship last year. The team that is suppose to be the latest greatest NBA dynasty complaining about how little respect they get from the officials! They are complaining about how Sacramento, the team that for the last 17 years has been NBA Siberia, is getting all the officials respect and are getting all the calls. Quit yer bitchin. It’s not becoming of who you are suppose to be!

What kind of clown world are we living in?!?
Can the warriors fan base get any more lame?!? I have way more saucy language to describe just what I think of lame a** warrior fan, but I will control myself.

My two cents...

Whether Sabonis intentionally grabbed at Draymond's leg or not is only something that we, as fans, can speculate. But, the truth of the matter is that Sabonis went down hard, and probably got the wind knocked out of him enough to not completely be fully within the moment. He was probably feeling around trying to make sure he still has the presence of mind to understand that he is down on a basketball court, and can feel his way around - I totally get that.

From Draymond's standpoint, I can also see where he might have been a little annoyed at Domas grabbing his leg. If I were Draymond, and I wasn't fully aware of the current situation (i.e. Domas not really knowing where he really is right now), I, too, would have "assumed" my leg was just being grabbed at for the sake of either taking me down, or preventing me from advancing back up the court.

Regardless of what Sabonis was thinking at that time, and regardless of what Draymond was thinking at that time, the bottom line is that Draymond had no business to stomp on Domas while Domas was down. If he had any other reaction (i.e. get up in someone's face for a minor confrontation), I would have been fine with it, because it is a part of the game. But don't go around stomping on a fallen opponent just to make your damn point.

For those pro-Warrior fans who are defending Draymond, I just hope you're defending Draymond because of the sheer fact that his leg was grabbed, and are defending his right to simply react. Just don't be defending that punk for reacting by stomping on another human. If you simply feel that he had a right to react, I hear you, and I agree with you. But if your argument spills into you thinking he had a right to react the way he did, you need a lesson as much as the next near-sided idiot in line.

Here is how the second dirtiest player in the NBA responds to a much more egregious leg grab. Really I hope Kings send this to Silver.
The great thing is Adam Silver was sitting Court side or pretty damn close and I can’t help but wait for his…evaluation of this down right dirty and absolutely abusing act from that dirty dog Green. I’ve watched so many reruns etc and that I feel positive that Sabonis was trying to save himself from impact? Domas is so taking the high road in this issue as he’s so used to having the crap beat out of him you know what I’m talking about. Anyway can’t wait for the newsbreak of Green getting suspended.

I think it's pretty simple. Sabonis was correctly called for a technical foul for grabbing his leg and Draymond was correctly called for a Flagrant 2 and ejected and should get suspended. The fact that Sabonis grabbed his leg does not excuse Draymond for literally stomping on another man's chest. He could have easily broke a rib, punctured a lung, etc.

The NBA is a joke if he's not suspended for this.

Draymond Green, psychopath, doesn't think he did anything wrong.
For anyone that has worked in the mental health/abuse survivor field - you'll recognize what Draymond is doing here as DARVO.

Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender.

It's classic abuser behavior. He's claiming he didn't really intentionally stomp (deny), then attacks Domas for holding his leg, then paints himself as the true victim of ongoing leg pulling.

Gaslighting.

Don't be fooled - Draymond's act last night was felony assault.

I disagree on the technical part. It wasn't an intentional grab. Watch it again from the baseline angle

The current Warriors bandwagoners were the yesteryear Lakers bandwagoners. Bunch of losers who attach their self worth to the sports team they support so that they can be considered winners by association. When the dynasty they hitched their wagon to teeters, this is what happens. It's always someone else's fault.

Silver is a joke. He started off with a bang but has pretty much sucked most of his tenure. Pushing up all the star players and doing the bare minimum just to keep the revenue spigot flowing. I imagine he sees money in extending this series and won't do doodly squat.

Colin Cowheard is a total joke. Just listened to him on his radio show saying that Kings always get the ref calls and that the Warriors are not playing well offensively and they still almost won. He was still predicting the Warriors in 6 or 7 games.

These national radio talking heads literally have not watched a single Kings game all season.. The Kings have not even shot the ball close to how well they can and they are still up 2-0 in the series. And, oh don’t look now national sports guy, but the Kings are the best road team in the West.

The Kings take at least 1 if not both games in the Bay. The Kings in 4 or 5!

What a joke. We have shot terrible the last two games, it’s our defense that kept us in. Two, for this to be over in 6 games for Dubs mean we lose four in a row which hasn’t happen since we started 0-4 to start the season

I'm over on twitter, and have bowed out of the chat, but a lot of people just seem to not realize how easy ribs are broken I guess. I've said this is one of the most malicious incidents I've ever seen because it was clearly done with the intention of taking Domas out of the playoffs. People suffer serious rib injuries getting CPR, and Draymond didn't "step" on him, he curb stomped him. I guess people see some kind of contact that isn't to the head or face and think it's no big deal. This was a really big deal.

@Pacboy am I wrong?

Exactly. This could be life threatening if the stomp was even an inch off. Sabonis has to be monitored.

I say we end it in 4, I don't care how many games the League wants it to go.

100 percent correct. Good CPR result in cracked ribs or bruised ribs easily and that’s just meant for pushing on your chest for 2inches depth. I remembered a long time ago, I had a person that survived told me she’s thankful to be saved by the CPR but wanted to slap me for pounding on her chest.

I mean, while supremely rare, we’re still less than a year removed from a professional athlete going into cardiac arrest on the field of play after being hit just right in the chest.
