Wow. From that angle he clearly wasn't "grabbing his leg"... he was trying to protect his face as you say. He had his eyes closed and there was chaos all around. Things were flying everywhere and he's reflexively protecting his face - he had gotten hit in the jaw earlier.

The league needs to end his season. I hope the Kings will be making sure the league sees this angle.
the Kings will see to that

You know from one angle I saw him get thrown to the ground and maybe he tried to stop a fast break, which is a professional foul. But I can definitely see him just trying to get his hands go to his face the way a wrestler would when he's about to take a chair shot, or someone falling off their bike does when they sacrifice an arm to save their skull. Hopefully when they review this incident they take that into consideration along with Green basically admitting in his interview he was getting retribution for what he thought were uncalled fouls against him. Just a POS human.

I feel strongly that he shouldn't be allowed to play in the rest of this series as he is an injury risk to other players due to his emotional volatility.

We have a player admitting to attempting to injure an opponent because he wasn't getting fouls. That's all kinds of wrong.

Draymond is a child. If he falls down going for a rebound he grabs Sabonis' leg in that same situation 10 times out of 10. He knows it, he knows that we know it, and yet he lacks any level of self-awareness and somehow acts like a crime was committed and he's the victim out there. I'm not sure he gets anywhere near the level of accolades he has if he's drafted by any other team. Winning is the ultimate get out of jail free card in professional sports. He's good at what he does but what he does is pass the ball to 2 of the 5 best shooters in league history and play defense for a team that typically just outscores their opponents anyway.

Was Domas doing something dirty when he did Yokozuna on him in Game 1? What pro wrestler will he emulate if allowed to play in game 3?

I like Kerr a lot, great coach and seems like a great person. I’m sure he is getting tied of defending Draymond.
Oh please. It is Kerr's encouragement that feeds the monster. All the BS talk about the code is the height of hypocrisy.

When you can't win fair and square, you need to have someone to do the dirty work and look the other way. That's who he is.

The physics of Draymonds stomp doesn't even make sense if he claims he has to put his foot somewhere. He lost his balance for a split second, clearly regains his balance, raises his foot and comes back down hard on the chest of Sabonis. There is no accident or a need of placing a foot somewhere. If you're pulling your leg free, you're going to accelerate your leg upwards in a yanking motion, not accelerating downwards in a stomping one.

Additionally, when I've ever tripped I've always pushed my leg out in front of me because my momentum carries me forward, not a foot in front of me and down. But Draymond clearly wasn't even off balance balance for more than a second, regains it, looks down at where Sabonis is and stomps where he is looking. Most normal people, if they saw someone below them, would try to avoid them. Draymond claimed in his interview that he is not flexible enough to put his leg out far. which is BS. The distance he would need to put his foot beyond Sabonis was barely more than a normal walking stride for him.

I guess I just completely missed a local broadcast of this game? Did anybody watch the game with Mark and Kayte on commentary?

I did and it was glorious. Rewatching with TNT broadcast now. (This game had G-Man, Ian Eagle, and Mark Jones on the call on different feeds which is like Super Bowl Sunday if you're a fan of PBP callers)

Both games to me have felt the Kings should have knocked out the GSW way earlier than they did, I thought they dominated the first two games but did not put the final nail in the coffin until crunch time. Fox/Monk have been unreal but as off right now it seems the younger/more athletic Kings have way more firepower. But I also thought the same thing watching the Bucks vs Raptors series (when Raps won the whole thing) and the Bucks did the same thing (than Kawahi went insane).

Kings look really good and it seems Fox atm is the most unstoppable player so far in the playoffs. Also the way Sabonis got dirty by grabbing Greens leg and baiting Green into doing something idiotic while maintaining his cool/focus was the play of the series so far mental warfare while mainintaing composure is next level.

man that Malik Monk block on Wiggins 3 was such a spectacular play I cant find it anywhere on twitter...

Here it is at 1:46... Just predicted the stepback.. This is truly an excellent prediction and ontop of that just an explosive defensive play, from a much smaller defender.

I did notice in my search that Monk actually had a huge block on Wiggins last season at the rim too.

There was also a spectacular recovery last night by Fox vs Wiggins in transition to prevent a basket, that was an elite level defensive play (not even factoring in its from our point guard!)

Then we also get what have gotta be 2 of the absolute most important 3's in Fox's and Mitchell's young careers right near the end of the game. Mitchell was amazing in that game, no question that he gets that DPOG chain.

Kevin Garnett knows ball but sometimes he sorta gets carried away n says crazy things like "Jrue Holiday is the best player on the Bucks"

I do think he's onto something though saying the Kings are built to matchup with the Warriors.. Especially when we can get Davion on Curry for extended action like last night, and Sabonis having such an efficient offensive game like that, those are things the Warriors really don't wanna see.'

Its one of the nice things about Davion on this team with such a prolific offense, when we get a double digit lead its sorta like when Mr. Burns says "release the hounds"

I was stuck with the TNT commentators, and League Pass was just doing that thing where they give you all these odd angles since it was being broadcast on national television. Were Kayte and Mark doing commentary there? I missed them!

if anyone gets the chance here, download the Audacy app and listen to 95.7 out of the Bay Area. It’s nothing but complaining about the refs. The refs are horrible. They are letting the kings get away with everything. Domas pushes off almost every play. The refs put them behind the 8 ball with those quick 5 fouls to begin the 3rd. They are trying to give the kings their props but the complaining about the refs! It’s laughable!!

Yes. I was watching the Kings pregame and realized that Katie and Mark were going to be calling the game on NBC Comcast. Had no idea but stuck with their broadcast and flipped back to hear Chuck during the half and at the end.

It also looks like Klay Thompson threw Sabonis down in the first place, which should have been a foul.
Yes that's exactly what happened. Let's be honest it's not that Dramon is an out of control nut case. He is part of a strategic shenanigans thuggery campaign that the Warriors resort to when they're getting beat. Go back and rewatch when Steph puts his knee in sabonis's jaw that was not an accident. The Warriors don't really have stand your ground toughness what they have is a Felix the cat size bag of tricks.
