My hot take: Kings in 6 (but I will also gladly take 7 if that is what is required)...Here we go.

I saw Poole walking outside the arena. He fell down 3 times before he made it to his car and whining to non existent official that he missed the call!
Some team is going to regret paying the defensive deficient glorified chucker that Jordan Poole is. He’s a joke.
That's ridiculous. The only reason why McNair should even consider trading Keegan Murray for OG Anunoby in 2023 is if he believes that the 2023-24 Sacramento Kings are an OG Anunoby away from a championship. And, if he believes that, he probably should lose his job.The thing with Keegan is can he become that type of scorer on a nightly basis as is? Nope. Not in this role. Take that to the bank. He's too dependent on others to score and if he puts up one more season of 12 and 5 that's going to hamper his value even if he's capable of more with different usage. To me the package difference between OG and Siakam should be somewhat wide. If the Kings can put together a package for Siakam because they need that next production guy then Monte needs to be on it and this is coming from someone who was against Siakam trades in the past. Fox and Sabonis have been that good though. If this team were actually "young", which it's not, it's inexperienced, that would be one thing but once that cap starts to solidify major adjustments will be way more costly if possible at all. Fox/Sabonis are your untouchables. I'm not even sure what the Warriors are this season when it comes to the upper crust. They could be a championship caliber team, but also 1st/2nd round fodder so it's hard to guage so far. We'll find out I guess.
Game was lost in the 3rd quarter the fact we didn't wilt and came back and had a shot will probably be a defining moment if we hold HCA on Wednesday and win the series.
That team is the Warriors, who already have signed him to an extension worth about $130M.
It feels fairly even to some extent but knowing Steph is ~10 years older is fine by me. I don't expect the Dubs to be in the way when this team's championship window is truly open.IDK whether they’ll end up winning this series or not, but through 4 games it appears to me that the KINGS have the best player on the court. That’s encouraging to me.
I know Steph and Klay are great shooters and have a lot of history, but neither are better players than Swipa right now.
Hopefully Swipa can find a way to save his team in this series.
I thought you were just being snarky.Sorry, my bad. I’d forgotten that.
IMO that was a pretty dumb move by a typically smart organization.

Here's what's wild about Doris, if you don't really watch the ESPN broadcasts unless the Kings are playing: every team's fans think that she's biased against them. Kings fans think that she's biased against them when they play the Warriors? Guess what, Warriors fans think that she's biased against them, when they're playing the Grizzlies. Grizzlies fans think she's biased against them, when they're playing the gd lakers. lakers fans think she's biased against them when they're playing the Nuggets, and on and on and on and on, forever and ever and ever. I don't think that there's a single fanbase in the NBA that doesn't believe that Doris is a homer for the other team, depending on who's playing whom.
Honestly, he was looking like a mini-Steph when they decided to give him that contract... little did they know their team chemistry would take a huge dive after the infamous punch, then enters the refs being more particular about calling on carrying and Poole had to alter his dribbling moves because he would work into a cupping movement (that is now infamously being framed up forever in NBA 2K23, but I digress) and after all that, Poole had been very inconsistent, very turnover prone, and generally play with a lack of confidence. That team is the Warriors, who already have signed him to an extension worth about $130M.

I am agreeing for the most part... except when she decided to spend (what felt like) 5-10 mins to explain to the audience how Stephen Curry might be underrated... hahaHere's what's wild about Doris, if you don't really watch the ESPN broadcasts unless the Kings are playing: every team's fans think that she's biased against them. Game 2 was the only game in the series played with one day rest. The others have all had two days off. We have that Wednesday as well but then the rest of the series is played Friday and Sunday if necessary. This benefits us I think. But have to set the table by taking Wednesday. In game 2, when Kings were playing the best defensive game of their season (so far), Curry missed a bunch and looked tired.....that's a factor with age.
Was hoping the stifling defense would bubble up again and wasn't limited to home-play, but they haven't marshalled it. Today they focused on offense, and had very good offensive game, but a little too sloppy. The starters didn't do well in the 3rd. I do like Len coming in now as the defense is noticeably better, and would like to see him in more.
I thought she was fine. She gave us enough props throughout the game. The curry love fest makes me want to puke, but come on he’s an all time great. What is she supposed to say. As someone else pointed out early, if anything I thought Jones was a bit of a homer…but I’m ok with that. Here's what's wild about Doris, if you don't really watch the ESPN broadcasts unless the Kings are playing: every team's fans think that she's biased against them. Oh I love every time when Pacific Div teams (not named Kings) over-spending for lesser talents. But you have to love that $130M mustachioed childlike smile with the towel on his head.
A lot of people who are really loud online seem to not care for her voice. And a lot of people who, again, are really loud online seem to think that she spends too much time gushing about the stars on the "other" team, and not enough time gushing over the stars on "their" team. So, whenever her name starts trending, people are immediately reminded of that time they thought she was being too hard on their team, and join in on the dogpile. Then there is something in her delivery people are picking up on.
A quick look at Twitter NBA trending topics will highlight Burke. Most of the same complaints were not coming from Kings fans.

In general, I have no issues with Doris.
Honestly, he was looking like a mini-Steph when they decided to give him that contract...
Alex Len being a crucial part of this series is lovely to see. At 7'1" he's a legit 5 with incredible coordination and agility for his size, runs up and down the court with relative ease at 255 pounds. Wish he was more polished in his bag on both ends of the floor but he's been surprisingly helpful when he's on the court and generally making quick and decisive moves.I do like Len coming in now as the defense is noticeably better, and would like to see him in more.
This is also true; Twitter is overrun by people who are terminally online.I don’t think social media, specifically Twitter, is a good litmus test for judging anything.
Maybe a little exaggeration on my part but he was definitely looking like a rising star... look at that highlight reel back in 2022 and he surely played with a different demeanor and aggressiveness. He’s never looked like mini-Steph. Not only offensively, but especially defensively.
Steph ain’t a great individual defender, but he’s good in a team concept and at least tries hard. Poole is a liability on that end.

I came away from that game feeling really good about our future, even if we don’t end up winning the series. Maybe it’s because the wifi at Chase Center sucks so my opinion of the game wasn’t influenced by social media and group chats with friends lol. We lost by one to a team who won 33/41 games in their building all season. It’s a 2-2 series against the defending champs in our first Playoff run with this core and WE have 2 of 3 games at home left. Our PG is taking a leap from stardom to superstardom. The future is looking great for us.I really don't understand the doom and gloom in here. We just took the Warriors to the wire on their home court where they have an over 80% winning percentage THIS year.
