I have been on the "keep Artest" bandwagon, but he is just too much of a distraction to keep around. He completely shuts down the offense when he is in the game and he keeps players who have proven worthy of getting the time on the bench. After reading this, and all of his other comments, it is obvious he does not want to be here. I say good riddance, go screw up someone else's team!

Reality check.

It's not about "the one player that cant stand to lose"... You really think the rest of the team enjoys losing?



It's about a player who doesn't want to be on a losing team. The Kings are either a mediocre or bad team, depending upon your point of view. They're either going to get worse before they get better or they're going to muddle along for a while until they get better. Neither of those two options is acceptable to Artest. He wants to be on a championship team. And he thinks in his mind he deserves to be on a championship team, which is fine except that nearly every player in the NBA with any kind of talent could reasonably make the same comment.

Artest is starting to fuss and fret because it's obvious the Kings aren't going to be what he wants/needs them to be. It's not about "the one player who cant stand to lose" at all.
