Since some of the people involved are free agents I had to plug other people in to represent them on the trade checker. Bobby Simmons is equal to Mo Williams signed and traded at $9 mil, and Eric Snow represents Anderson Varejao signed and traded at $6 mil.

I think I really like this trade. Miami becomes a contender. We rebuild. Mil doesn't give up Williams for nothing, plus they get some picks and a decent replacement for Yi. Cleveland gets the point guard they need.

Sac Out:
Mike Bibby
Ron Artest

Sac In:
Dorell Wright
Jason Williams
Drew Gooden
Rights to Yi

Mil Out:
Mo Williams
Rights to Yi

Mil In
Anderson Varejao
Chris Quinn
2008 Draft Pick

Miami Out:
Dorell Wright
Michael Doleac
Jason Williams
Chris Quinn
2008 Draft Pick

Miami In:
Ron Artest
Mo Williams
David Wesley

Cleveland Out:
Anderson Varejao
Drew Gooden
David Wesley

Cleveland In:
Mike Bibby
Michael Doleac

Sac Does It: Kicks off the rebuild. We get Yi. We get Wright. Jason Williams is an expiring. Gooden expires the next year.

Sac Doesn’t: Nothing spectacular. Yi could be a bust. We trade our two best talents

Mil Does It: Yi doesn’t want to play there, so they get a decent return for him in AV. They also get Quinn, a decent young player. They also get Miami’s draft pick.

Mil Doesn’t: They have to give up Yi. They have to give up Williams. William is probably gonna sign with the Heat for less than the Bucks are going to pay for him anyway, because he wants to play for a contender. So this way they get something back for them. I have a feeling we’d have to throw in our 2008 first rounder to get Mil to do it

Miami Does It: Their starting line up is Mo Williams, Dwayne Wade, Ron Artest, Udonis Haslem, and Shaquille O’Neal. They become instant contenders.

Miami Doesn’t: They have to give up a lot of youngsters and their pick. But they want to win now, and this trade will allow them to do that. Also, Ron Artest is crazy, yes, but Shaq and Riley can keep him in line.

Cleveland Does It: Huge upgrade at the point. It gives Lebron major scoring help, and someone who can play in the clutch.

Cleveland Doesn’t: They have to give up two of their PFs. But, it’s a minor downgrade at PF for a major upgrade at PG. The biggest reason they don't like this trade is because of how stacked Miami, one of their conference rivals, becomes.
