Rotten month of February....

The Kings have 5 back-to-back sets this month. They are the following....

Feb 1 Seattle
Feb 2 @Golden State

Feb 4 New York
Feb 5 @Portland

Feb 10 @Seattle
Feb 11 Dallas

Feb 15 @Chicago
Feb 16 @New Jersey

Feb 26 @Philadelphia
Feb 27 @Washington

Woah! Considering this month only has 28 days. Hopefully we don't have any serious injuries out of this. So much for the "romance" month :\ *sigh*

We're right in the heart of our brutal stretch now...won't come out of it until March. 12 of next 17 on road, right in the midst of a strip against all top teams.

If we can do no more than maintain our current pace through this stretch it will be a VERY encouraging sign.

At least we get Dallas at Arco. Looking at that schedule makes tommorow nights game even more important. I forsee a lot more of Barnes, Evans,Songalia, and Martin though...

You're right. A few of those 2nd games are against dangerous teams as well. Portland always gives us trouble, Dallas is play pretty well, New Jersey is decent enough I guess, and of course, Washington which is a good, athletic team that runs a lot. Not good for those tired legs at all. Seattle and Chicago are nothing to laugh at either. I guess the only real thing to look forward to in February is the All-Star Weekend.

IT HAD BETTER BE WORTH IT!!

I mention in another thread that the Home games are important cause Feb have more road games. There's going to be a 6 games road trip towards the end of Feb.

I hope you didn't mean that, you might have aroused some of the ladies in the forum

I thought that January was just as bad ,if not worse (although we played more home games). We came out with a 12-4 record. None of those games really scares me. I think we are better than any of the teams we play :)

We played 3 back to backs in January (all of them on the road).

Go Kings!!!

(Thanks, PFFFT, for pointing that out.)

Whoooooooooooo! And who says the NBA isn't for the ladies???

for the rest of the season most of our games are going to be on the road

the encouraging part is that we are one of five teams, i believe, that have a winning record on the road..woohoo

I think I may be a tad sick in the head. I want to play Seattle, I have been waiting for the rematch to prove we are better and the Sonics are well the Sonics. NO STANLEY Danny Fortson is not the answer :) HAHA (although he is playing well for them right now)

Remember we hit them tomorrow off a tough back to back for them. They have the Spurs tonight.

Looking at the schedule they are all tough match-ups but Seattle and Dallas are the hardest. If it were a perfect world the rest should be wins.

^yeah i agree with you and Twix about the Seattle/Dallas back 2 back

i can't wait to play Dallas again...i keep thinking we haven't played them all year cuz we played them sucha long time ago (first game of the season) so im ready for a rematch

For some reason Dallas still makes me stop and take a good hard look any time they are mentioned... Kings vs. Mavs(some of the best games I've ever seen)...I think that story has more than a few chapters left to be written...

From the Sonics' persepective, what a brutal back to back. Play in San Antonio Texas than fly 1500 miles out to Sacramento to play us?? That's nasty.

Yipes. All I ask is that they hang in there...

...and keep their clothing on.

Heh...didn't think of Sonics' side. Actually makes the Kings back 2 back look alright. :D

Dont forget we get 6 straight days off in February for the All Star break so hopefully any nagging injuries will heel during that time.

As a member of the female population, I can quite honestly say that there are very few NBA players that I can think of that would make the stripping idea even remotely titilating.

VERY few.

VERY, VERY few.
