That right there shows how much better martin is getting with footwork and ball handling leading up to that spectacular reverse. That baseline crossover is something bibby used to do when he a little lighter and quicker.

Hopefully kevin continues to do stuff like this at the end of games because he has been looking better than ever the last few weeks.

Heck of a job on T-mac in the clutch from Artest. Whats with freakin Miller? why does he always loose his composure and act so child like.

Am I seeing the box score right? Sheldon got 24 minutes!!!!!

And for you +/- freaks, Shelden was a whopping +14 for the game. Nobody even close. KMart and Ron were -1's each.

Although Shelden played a decent game, this shows how meaningless the +/- is, in and of itself.

Oftentimes, when a player has a wildly different +/- than his teammates, it means something. Tonight, it did not.

I love our bash brothers [Kevin & Cisco]. Great Pass from Kevin to Fransisco which leads to an awesome dunk.

Sheldon got some nice minutes tonight and he used those minutes goodley.

lol they gave diekembe a tech for his finger wave

That's just classic. lol

What a nail-biter and unprobable victory! I thought it was over with that last turnover...whew! Great game and a nice win 34!

just got back from the game.

we definitely still have the best fans in the NBA. There had to be at least 15,000 fans there tonight.

Great atmosphere

You must be kidding. On several levels. There must be some REAL crappy camera angles being employed if there were 15000 of any thing but rats in the building.

I don't think there were quite 15000 but it seems like there were a lot of people there compared to a lot of other games from the season.

Might have been more than normal -- its a good opponent with Sacto connections (that we then hurt to the benefit of the Lakers, woohoo ). But there appeared to be considerably less than 10 at tipoff. Game could have been in Memphis with all those empty seats. It filled in again. But 15000 is getting near a full house, and that is just fanciful.

Brick generaly sees the cup half full and he sees Arco half full too. Even if you are there and he watches on t.v., he knows best. It was a great crowd, whatever the number. The kids played, we won and it was a fun game to watch. I can tell you that this crowd left happy and that's a nice thing. Annie.

I heard from three different people who were lucky enough to be there tonight that it was indeed a great crowd - and they didn't think the official total was very far off.

tonight I made my Arco Arena debut! what an awesome game to go to! the end was very dramatic... kevin martin was so awesome! the atmosphere was great, but i had been hoping for the deafening arco thunder :D there were not 15000 there... but it was a good crowd nonetheless

i still can't figure out why miller got that 2nd T.... it seemed pretty horse to me..

I had a blast, the kings got me a win on my birthday and i FINALLY got to go to a game at arco!!! WOOO

GO KINGS!

Brick generally has less self interest in exaggerating his own experience and actually watches the rest of the league, including places that routinely draw 10,000 a night, hence has something to compare with other than the obviously exaggerated official tallies (which also suffer from self interest). "Official" tally btw was 14,169 -- which has generally meant subtract a couple of thousand and you are about home.

Brad went in for a driving lay up. He missed the easy shot which almost anybody over 6'8 would have dunked. Argued with ref saying something to get first tech. After the play he appeared to hack Dikembe M. who rejected his shot which on replay was clearly a foul. Brad continued to ***** in front of Rockets bench and finally got tossed.

Does that mean he will miss next game or what

The ultimate crowd can't really be judged early in the first quarter. The crowd tends to come late and leave early. (Even in a close one like last night! I don't get it.)

I've been pretty critical of the crowd at the games this year, so I don't think I'm biased or exaggerating. I've been to a few games this year and the crowd was pretty good last night. No 15,000, for sure, but decently full. More important, the crowd was into the game, having fun, being loud and was on their feet for the last couple of minutes. It was a good time at Arco last night.

Regardless of your detached objectivity, the fans there obviously had a good time and were supportive.

I think the main objection some (including myself) have to your comments about the crowd is that you seem to be saying there's no one there and the people who do straggle in off the street aren't involved. That's simply not true every single game. When people say it was a good crowd, I think they're reporting their feelings and their observations first hand, and that has to get some respect, doesn't it?
