Kobe deeply loved the game and his family. As I think back on his incredible legacy I’m reminded of his competitive spirit & millions around the world he inspired. As a father, the loss of Gianna is devastating. My… https://t.co/iogzNxaU4Z

After the Grizzlies took a 24-second violation to begin the game, the Suns took an 8-second violation. Devin Booker was moved to tears. pic.twitter.com/YikW0sY4rr
This is shocking for me n my college buddies. Around the same age, used to see him around campus all the time, passing way, way too soon. RIP Mamba n Gigi.
What campus? They used to practice occasionally over at Loyola Marymount when I went there
Just landed in Miami... heart’s heavy after the passing of a true legend. Truly cannot believe it. Thank you for everything!! True inspiration! #RIPMamba pic.twitter.com/fPObvGClzQ

Never met a bigger Kobe fan than @buddyhield. If you knew Buddy when he was at OU, you know Kobe was his idol. Buddy COULD NOT WAIT to meet him after Sweet 16 win over A&M in ‘16, and scored 37 vs. Oregon two days later with Kobe in stands again. Really nice moment here. #RIPKobe pic.twitter.com/sDnc7nOtLH

UCLA. Men’s gym open runs (still going strong today; most NBA players summer scrimmages are there) n Magic used to reserve the courts at Wooden (student gym). So I personally ran into him a dozen or so times on n around campus. Never said anything to him. Just walked by.
Nice. Was down there from97-01
Per TMZ, looking like fog disorientated the pilot, who flew the helicopter into a mountain. Would think that with today’s technology, GPS n maps (Waze for air travel?) should’ve been able to avoid the tragedy. Sad n speechless.
