RIP Kobe - tributes and condolences

I'm just watching all of these people on espn in tears. Former pro Jay Williams was in shambles, Rachel Nichols can hardly hold it together and Stephen A. Smith is holding back tears. There was footage earlier of Tyson Chandler and Austin Rivers crying on the bench. God...his poor wife and daughters, and all of the other people related to those onboard the crash.

Just devestating.

LA Country Sheriff press conference about to begin, probably on all sports channels. I know NBA TV plans on broadcasting it live.

LA County Sheriff says there were nine people on board, the pilot and 8 others. He refused to name additional victims and called out TMZ for prematurely rushing to report the news without waiting for loved ones to be notified.
