I had seen where he was hospitalized with pneumonia. This was a shock, however.

RIP, Bernie Mac.....and prayers for your family, as well.

Ok that is bizarre, because earlier this week I saw a hoax about Bernie's death in a usenet group.

One of the greatest of this generation. In honor, please treat yourself to see Bernie at his best with these three films:

"The Original Kings of Comedy" - w/Steve Harvey, D.L. Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer

"Guess Who" - w/Ashton Kucher

"Mr. 3000" - Plays a retired MLB star returning to the big leagues to get his 3000th base hit.

That sucks.. Bernie was a great comedian. I will miss his movie parts. He always brought that "it" factor even when he was in a small part (like transformers). RIP Bernie Mac.

I loved Bernie Mac, and this is a big loss. He's been cracking me up for 16 years.

I can't even begin to post a clip here, nor would I feel comfortable subjecting anyone else to such a horrible movie, but Bernie Mac's 1 1/2 minute (roughly) speech in The Player's Club on the origin of the "strippin' game" is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Bucket nakeds!!
