raptors/kings

Raptors:
juan dixon (exp)

Kings:

Quincy Douby
Francisco Garcia

kings get more money, lets be real garcia is good, but hes old. how much better is he going to get? i was a big fan of douby, but...

jaun said he want out colangeo i think would love garcia.

what the? we just drafted these guys with 1st round picks. colangelo would definitely jump on this deal.

we're rebuilding trying to collect as much young talent, capspace, picks as possible. in the end we might be able to parlay them into a young seasoned vet to help us out.

why? are you sold on douby, want to wait until his team option?

Well, it is better to have young talent than an expiring. They're cheap, too. I don't see any benefit of your trade. I'm guessing you were sold on Martin after his rookie year? Or would you have traded him for an expiring?

no, i am not totally sold on expiring s myself. but i have not seen anything from douby. maybe this will help kings bite the bullet on Kenny's buyout.

yeah some decent d moments.

Douby is young, anything can happen. Not many predicted Martin would turn into a prolific scorer, but look at him now. There is no point giving up young guys for nothing. We still wouldn't have enough to sign anyone. And Garcia is a decent player.

There are trade threads here that get a lot of discussion and people really enjoy. Know why? Because the person proposing the trade has actually thought about it for more than a nanosecond and put forth some effort. If linking to a realGM trade checker is the best you can do, I guess that's all you can do...

So we trade away two young players for an expiring?

Garcia is 26 freaking years old and in his 3rd year! Garcia is a nice bench player who provides a spark and energy. Garcia can spot start and average decent numbers at the SG/SF spot. (see numbers below) Why in the world would you call him old? He also has improved drastically this year. To say he's not getting any better is just a lie, or an uneducated observation. Basically I think you are just making things up.

you have nothing to support your "claims" in re: to Garcia.

Basically what you are saying is that anyone over the age of 26 is considered "old" in the NBA and teams should just start over. If that's the case I think the Kings should go after Duncan, Manu, and Parker because I am sure San Antonio is looking to trade them. . They are all considered "OLD" LOL.. Heck, let's get Dirk, Josh Howard, ....... I am not going to name all the 26+ players that are still contributing in the NBA.

Garcia is old?? I could have sworn he was just 26.

This is easily one of the worst trades I have ever seen proposed..no offense, but this isn't something I would like to see done.

VF in your personal opinion, do you think Geoff is done, or is there hope by thursday one more trade?

In my personal opinion, I think Petrie is still working but I won't be surprised if no one snaps up the bargain that is Ron Artest.

garcia is 27
?? Dec 31 1981 is 26. He will be 27 on Dec 31st.

I hope we have another deal. Supposedly Artest is still being talked about in Denver, but I think there might be a 3rd team involved.

Rumors (and these are just rumors) are that Artest is definitely on the table. Salmons, and Lue MIGHT be on the table. Now I totally forgot where I read this one (please don't ask me to look for it. I searched everywhere), but Phoenix is supposedly after Salmons. Nothing was said on what would be offered.

Than in the Bee supposedly Phoenix, and Boston are interested in Lue. No clue why, because imo he isn't very good.

Please do us all a favor, when doing a trade, think about it once or even twice or even a third time...maybe even a fourth time before posting. Thanks.

I think Larry was just pulling your chain. However, when some chains are pulled, there's a flushing sound. Seems appropiate..
