[Game] Raptors @ Kings Game Thread

Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting a win, far from it. I just want to see a competitive game in this one, not competitive as in falling down 20 and thinking we can come back on the Lakers, play them tough, Cousins will struggle guarding Pau obviously so Dalembert might see a lot of time in this one.

So if you are going to the game PLEASE be extra loud! I kind of think the game is going to be a 10+ point loss but I will be happy with anything under 10. 105-96 is my best guess.

team looked awesome tonight. Cousins is a friggan manchild, reke is a freak, Casspis throw down in traffic was sick!!!!! 3-1!

KINGS WIN!!!! KINGS WIN!!!! im loving everything about this team right now!!! Casspi is really stepping up... if he can hit 3's like that all year long not just 3/4 of the year we are looking pretty balanced with the starting 5 and we got some really, really good bench/role players.... man what a good feeling to not drop the home opener

Our team is growing together. Sooner or later the people in Sac Town will also notice it and come more and more to Arco to support the team.

But who knows, last year we also didnt expect anything and almost won.

Well, in retrospect, that loss did get us Cousins...

I think Dalembert has to start till at least the all star break. it seems that our defense overall improves when he is in the game. Maybe starting him will get rid of these lazy first halfs. i loved the comeback but there will be no comebacks on wed or against any playoff calibur team. Cousins is a perfect 6th man because he will likely go up against backup bigmen and we have someone to run the offense through when tyreke or beno is on the bench.

The thing with the Kings/Laker games, their usually always close, I believe we had 2 games against them where it came down to the wire and we should of won but our youth/inexperience showed. That's why I expect it to be a "respectable" game. I don't think they will win it, but I just ask for hustle/heart/determination from the BEGINNING! Please.

What a great game see the teams they have been playing have not really been top tier so the D could wait til the second half and they realized by the 2nd quarter of this game that they didnt start out right. Against the Lakers i bet they wont be lax for any of the game you can bet the Maloofs will let them know that they want to see a gooooooood game.

That was the most electric I've seen Arco since the glory days (Reke's 20-5-5 doesn't count), even heard the legendary roll of the Arco thunder for a few seconds there in the fourth. I definitely feel like this is the start of something big. I am a believer!

wed is a very important game for this team. national tv vs the world champs and our rival. this team has to play a great 4 quarters win or lose. this is our chance to let the world know the kings are the next up and coming team ala okc. how bad would it look if the nat tv guys are like these young kings start 3-1 and play exciting ball. then we just get blown out of our own building. that cant happen.

I was at this game. What I noticed, along with everyone around my section, was that this team plays better whenever JT is NOT on the floor.
A clapping ovation when he was taken out of the game and Jackson being a beast out there really makes me wonder why Westphal gives this man so much PT.

I was laughing at one point in the game when Evans got his billionth offensive rebound (over JT at this point) Bert just jumped off the bench, gave a crazy look at JT then looked at coach , 20 seconds later he was in the game.

I went to the game and I'm hoarse. I don't get to go to games too often, but it was really great tonight. First time I've seen and heard a crowd like that at Arco in a very long time. It really did have the feel of the good old days. And there was some actual Arco thunder tonight. Love the sound of thousands of feet stomping the wooden floorboards. I will be at the Lakers game and I promise to be even louder.

Yeah the stomping sent chills down my spine. Obviously not at the levels of the heyday but still impressive nonetheless

My excitement and adrenaline is starting dying down but I still can't fall asleep! My 8 yr old nephew learned quick what Arco thunder is all about. He said it was it was so loud he couldn't hear himself.
Shout out to the guy sitting next to me who was going crazy screaming at the team and the refs all game and who's wife had to continually console him and tell him to calm down. Though, I did think he scared the kids a little bit.
Checked the tickets to the LA game for Wed, knew they were part of the Kings "variable" pricing, but didn't expect them to be practically double the regular price
