That means if we did all that, we would be about 18 Million under the cap, unless my math is wrong or I have the contracts wrong or something. We could use that money to go after young bigs like Darko, Perkins, and Biedrins. That would give us a really good frontcourt. Any thoughts to this? Our lineup for the '07-'08 season could look something like this:
C: Miller/ Darko
PF: Biedrins/ SAR
SF: Artest/ ?
SG: Martin/ Garcia
PG: Bibby/ Douby
That would be pretty good. Getting both of them would be difficult but getting players of their caliber wouldn't be out of question. Of course at that point we could trade Miller if we got Darko and Biedrins. I know this is thinking far ahead, but what does everyone think about trying to get under the cap? It would only take one season, and we could still make the playoffs this year.
