Przybilla down w/ apparent knee injury

To bad for Portland and Pryz, but more good news for Kings. Maybe this will ultimately knock Blazers out of playoff contention - they were already teetering with all their other injuries. Meanwhile Utah, San Antonio to name a couple in WC look like they are not as good as before - adding more to Kings chances to Reke Havoc.

Just maybe, maybe, Kings can grab that ol' 8th spot - I know I may be dreaming out loud! I can see it now, first Martin back and Kings get on an even better roll, then Cisco returns to the mix and they sneak into the playoffs right at the end - only to draw Lakers in the first round;) Y-NOT!

I wish him a full and speedy recovery. Seeing any player go down to injury makes me cringe...

I wouldn't mind if the Kings snuck into the first round. The way I see it, they'd be on the way up from the abyss, as opposed to sneaking into the first round with band-aids and MLE contracts.

That aside, damn, it sucks to be Portland right now. Talk about going from one of the strongest frontcourts in the NBA to, well, Juwan Howard.

Wow. Their bigs keep going down, but this time Przy to Howard is a huge dropoff. Absolutely huge. Not to mention that Howard's not even a center whatsoever--in his heyday he was a defenseless groundbound mid-range scoring PF, at age 36 he's at the age where he's at the cusp of retirement. Swinging Aldridge to center will prove equally disastrous, and Cunningham's a rook. They seriously need to make a trade to address the issue.

Pretty amazing when you enter the season wiht not 1, but 2 of the biggest most intimidating rebounders/shotblockers in the league, and before Christmas you lose not only 1, but both of them to season ending knee injuries.

damn

from jailblazers to Frailblazers.... sad way to go for portland

ouch, i have a lot of blazer fans as friends, i mean thats where i grew up, and where i lived for 12 years. I know fans up there are very passionate about their team. to see this, it really makes me sad, although it does improve our chances of playoffs [evil chuckle]
