Ok, well, after our 1-7 start things got wild and wooly, and yet still only ended up 1 game off (the bad Minnesota loss) of my predicted pace that would leave us beating the Lakers to go .500 on Jan 7th. It was always going to take a while to get there though, even if we'd beaten Minnesota, because there are lot of solid games in December. Few freebies, a weird 4 day gap in the middle, and then an automatic loss/automatic win combo to close the month out

So here's the schedule, make your call where we'll be when we wake up with a hangover on New Year's morning:

12/3 BOS
12/5 @HOU
12/6 @OKC
12/8 UTH
12/10 NYK
12/15 HOU
12/18 @MIN
12/20 @TOR
12/21 @WSH
12/23 @IND
12/27 POR
12/28 @GSW
12/30 PHI

I have bolded the wins that I predict. I have us at 10-3 for the month if Boogie, Rondo, and Gay play every game. I still think we go 9-4 or at worst 8-5 if we keep two of them for every game.
12/3 BOS
12/5 @HOU
12/6 @OKC
12/8 UTH
12/10 NYK
12/15 HOU
12/18 @MIN
12/20 @TOR
12/21 @WSH
12/23 @IND
12/27 POR

12/28 @GSW
12/30 PHI
Therefore, I believe the Kings will be 17-15 by January 1.

7-6 or 6-7 strikes me as the most reasonable projection, given the level of competition the kings will be facing on the road for the rest of the month. unfortunately, that doesn't get them much closer to .500, so they'll need to win at least a couple of pretty tough games to prove me wrong, and to prove that they belong in the playoff conversation...

12/27 POR
12/28 @GSW
12/30 PHI
My attempt at it:

12/3 BOS .........W
12/5 @HOU ....W (!)
12/6 @OKC .....L
12/8 UTH ........L
12/10 NYK .......W
12/15 HOU ......W
12/18 @MIN ...W
12/20 @TOR ...L
12/21 @WSH ...L
12/23 @IND ....W (!)
12/27 POR .......W
12/28 @GSW ...L
12/30 PHI .......W

It can very easily get to 5-8 (instead of 8-5).
Health will determine a lot.

I went with 7 wins out of that list there...they get Houston twice which is encouraging but then again Houston might not play like early season Houston versus the Kings so who knows

I said they were going to finish with 45ish wins before the season....little did I realize that Karl looks at defense as a means to rest before each offensive possession...4-9 for this month

Coming into this month I figured absolute best case was 10-3.
But realistically figured we would drop at least a couple on the road and falter at home for at least 1 for a 7-6 "realistic best case scenario."
But after trying to stomach watching the last couple games I think this team will be lucky to go 4-9 this month.
There is just too much bad basketball being played to think they can figure out how to win any more games than that.

I'm a little late for the poll but I predict a 3-10 record. Lots of road games in this segment of the season and the Kings don't win on the road. :( With a little more effort the team could have started December 3-0.

Will the Kings even win 3o games?
