Evans is running the offense better then i thought he would at this point of the season. He is looking really comfortable at the point.

The starting lineup played 4 min together. That same group hasn't been on the floor together since. Westphal needs to start getting some continuity with a starting lineup now don't wait until the regular season.

Gotta disagree here for a variety of reasons.

1. The Kings are playing the reigning champs.
2. Pre-season is exactly the time when you experiment with various combinations to see what players do best with what other players.
3. The only way to learn enough about your team to be able to establish continuity in real games is to switch around in pre-season.

Yes, it's the Kings v. Lakers and we all want to see them do well, but I'll settle for regular season wins vs. looking good in the pre-season any day of the week.

Im not going to go into it like I did last pre season game .. unless I get egged on =]

Donte hasnt seen a minute of time. Add Sergio to that list aswell. Its not right ...

martin cant shoot freethrows for some unknown reason.... tyreke is a lot better than i thought. he isnt a pg but he is a really good player. casspi is a good player... but we are scrubtastic as hell....

go kings.

he may not be a pg but he is the best damn PG on THIS team. He should have 6 ast right now but spence decided not to work out all summer.

bynum is killing the kings... hawes isnt strong enough to guard him. this team cant make freethrows....

A quick note on Mason - Real invisible out there. I look at the box score and it says he played 11 minutes. He didnt do much. Has four assists, but I wouldnt say they were flashy enough to remember. One bucket came on a good look from Kmart.

what the hell are you talking about
Dreadnought was talking about that sequence where Hawes missed the dunk in transition, and then Noc missed the 3 on the second chance. You responded that it's just preseason. And I said preseason has NOTHING to do with messing up that simple play. I don't care if it's summer league, there's no excuse for that.

Spencer had a bad preseason last year and still had a pretty good season overall.

With that said Jason and Spencer still look lost on the defensive end, especially in transition.

Without a doubt. I realize it's not game 7 of the NBA Finals, but your comment goes both ways. It's only preseason and our 7 footer is already having trouble jumping less than 3 feet.
I missed the part of you referring to the missed dunk. I thought the "die inside" comment was about us getting run off the court.

he didn't mention the missed dunk in the post

His reference was to that play, because he commented on it right after it happened, as did I after I saw it. It was a particularly painful sequence to watch, hence the "die inside" remark.
I saw it to. When my page reloaded and showed the post it was a few minutes past that play, and we were getting run off the court. Lets chalk it up to a misunderstanding

they arent playing that bad but they are just missing shots.... evans isnt that good of a defender, fisher ran right by him a couple of times and kobe well.... i guess that doesnt count. but he is a lot more athletic than i thought he would be. i can see why so many of you are so high on him. he has the right about of everything to become a really good player. but he is gonna need a jumper.... he is too good of a ball handler to be such a bad shooter.
