Hey folks, the server that the "chat room" is housed on will be relocating once again unfortunately. I plan to do the move tomorrow when there's no game so hopefully no one will notice and everything will be up and running again by Friday. If things go smoothly, downtime should hopefully be < 30 minutes--but one always needs to expect the unexpected. ;)

Can you also fix the operator problem while you are at it? Apparently the "bot" or place holder is missing. So, whoever is the first one to sign into chat, automatically gets op status. Those of us with permanent op status have lost our "powers" that way. Does this make sense?
 
6th, I thought you told me about that problem in late January; have you been unable to get in touch with Variant in all that time?

No, I sent a PM, to which he responded. Nothing has ever changed however. Maybe I was not clear, or I did not understand his response. At any rate, nothing has changed about the op problem.
 
Well folks, the move has been completed (as of a few hours ago actually). I thought I had fixed the opping problem a ways back after talking with Sixth--hadn't heard any additional reports of problems. I guess it was still acting funky? See if it behaves itself a bit better now. I'm usually idling on IRC so if you can't get ahold of me here, drop "Variant" on IRC a message.
