Portland/Sac trade Idea

#1
Sac Trades: Andres Nocioni

Portland Trades: Joel Pryzbilla

why Sac does it:
1) gets a legit 7 footer who can rebound and defend and we don't need to start Sean May @ C anymore while getting out rebounded by +20
2) shorter contract, Joel becomes a very nice expiring contract next season
3) opens up playing time for Casspi, who's looked great.
4) we have Cassipi,Greene,Cisco, and Noc at the 3.

Why portland does it:
1) great fit into their system at SF, can defend, hit the 3, and plays with lots of energy
2) allows Oden much more room to grow as the primary C.

thoughts?

That would be a great roster-balancer for us, with no downside contract or age-wise. Which unfortunately probably indicates there's no way it would happen. :p Portland has SF's and it would leave them exactly one deep at center. I don't think Oden needs THAT much room to grow, especially with his injury history.

Batum's out for a long time and Webster is way too small to play SF against guys like Artest, RJ, Melo, and Bron

Webster's a SG...

id be willing to throw in Greene, I think Hawes could learn a lot from Pryzilla

Guys...forget Pryzbilla. Portland likes him, always have. And they understand the value of size up there. They try to keep a full sized shotblocking/rebounding big on the court at all times. And they have like 5 SFs as is. They are the last team who would need Noc.

i think a team that needs someone like noc is boston, only if we're willing to take scrubs like tony allen and bill walker in return.

If Portland trades Pryz for Noc (and they won't), that could only mean that the Portland GM and Noc were out drinking together last night.:p

I say it every time Pryz comes up though a few have beat me to the punch this time: They love Pryz up here. But that's secondary to the fact that they also no longer have Channing Frye around so Pryz is the only thing between an Oden injury and LaMarcus Aldridge being the full time center.

There's no way Portland trades for Nocioni with a possible DUI charge in his future. Just scratch Portland off the list of potential suitors right now. Indiana too. Anyone else I'm leaving out?
