This team is a work in progress. And they're getting a valuable lesson from the Detroit Pistons. As much as I want to defend my team, they look horrible!

We statred last years season as bad as this and we still ended up with 50 + wins last yer
We have a better team this year so i wouldnt doubt if they got 50 again, but seriously, if this team wants to get farther then the first round they have to work on there team defence.

Man we are getting ripped on ESPN.. Legler(usually a somewhat Kings supporter compared to others on ESPN) just said Adelmans days are numbered and Petries should be too, for putting this team together...
I think it's really unfair to judge the team after 3 games. I love it how these so called analyist were praising the moves by Petrie just a week ago and now think he should be fired.

OK... Kings getting booed on opening night... no one else thinks something is seriously wrong here? Think we'll break 80 tonight??

Barely anyone breaks 80 on the Pistons.
We seem to be barely breaking 80 against anyone.. granted the Hornets are in the same class as the pistons definately . Speaking of breaking, our offense looks broken.

None of the Kings from last year are playing well this season, the only reason we even won the game at Phoenix was because of Shareef. So we would really be 0-4 right now if it wasnt for Shareef. I really hope Peja gets traded cause we can really use a good defender other then a guy that is undependable.

Well at least we get a game tommorow to try and put this behind us, unfortunately it's in Denver. I think the Kings will come out and fight though.

I actually think that Bibby has not had a bad night. Right now, he has 13 pts, 6 rebs, and 9 assits. Granted, I am not watching the game, just listening (painfully) but I just had to comment on that. Overall, it was very a disappointing game, but I do try to find some positive.

Note: Not to pour any more rain on the parade, but Bonzi suffers from asthma and traditionally has a very hard time in Denver.

:(

This is very simple

We are not in the same league as the Detroit Pistons

We have to look elswhere to win some games
I would have to agree with this statement at this point. not in the same league. sad, but true.

yeah, but he's 5/13 shooting... not a stellar game for Bibby...:(

Note: Pedja has problems playing hard. They say he is made of some sort of jello but that has not been proven yet.

Well, our biggest weaknesses have been exposed. We cannot defend against cute little soft bunnies, let alone mean, nasty NBA players. While horrible, this was not totally unexpected.

Grant and Jerry are talking - they cannot remember the last time the Kings had a home opener this bad. Of course, Grant says he can't remember the last time the Kings had to open against the EC champion, either...
