The Spurs lost because of themselves. No team is going to win a game missing 12 FTs. It is just kike the first Seattle game the Sonics one.

SacTownKid said:I think that block was a goaltend. When they showed the replay Amares hand was bent over the rim and the balls was already over the rim. So basically it was Amares hand being supported by the rim that made Duncan miss that shot.
Bibby_Is_Clutch said:Duncan wasnt right. 15/15 in game 3... and like 3/14 in game 4? Anyways something rattled him.
VF21 said:That happens fairly often with Duncan. If he doesn't hit his first couple of free throws he may be off all night. I've seen it happen at least three or four other times just this year... and I think Hubie was talking about it a while back.
VF21 said:I don't think so. I think it was the battle of strength between Duncan's dunk attempt and Amare's block that moved his hand over the rim. It didn't start in that position.
I don't think that they can win even one more; the Suns got the benefit of a couple questionable calls in the final minute, and basically pulled off a win despite being outplayed for about 95% of the game.VF21 said:The Suns may have won tonight, but I don't think they can do that 3 out of the next 4 games...

The 2004 ALCS wasn't rigged, and this won't be, either. The Boston Red Sox were a better team; they just finally learned to stop getting in their own way when it comes to the Yankees.doone said:Hey, David Stern is the commissioner. If the Red Sox can somehow beat the Yankees while being down 0-3, I'm sure Stern can find a way to rig this series.

Plus, if they're counting on getting stops down the stretch to beat San Antonio, they're in big, big trouble.
Ray Allen34 said:Suns dominated the 2nd half, so how could they of been completely outplayed? Suns now have Joe Johnson back, a guy that missed the first two games. He hd 26 last night with him back there's no reason why they won't force a game 6. Shame he wasn't healthly all through the series but like we our series the Spurs got lucky with other guys being out for the other team.

Gargamel said:They may force a Gm6 if they're lucky, but it's ovum. Quite a disappointing ending to this season, probably reminding their fans of Barkley's 2nd-4th playoff exits with them.
I'd like to mention that the way the Spurs toyed with Phx so far goes to show how good the Kobe/Shaq squads were, beating them 3 times. The Spurs are going to pick up 3 titles in a hurry if Duncan doesn't shred a knee or rupture his Achilles. Btw, their next title looks like it'll come against Miami. Judging from the last Det/Miami game, the refs have clearly changed their outlook on the Pissterns since the Finals. No spotting Det 12 FTAs per game, no 4 jumpball vios on Shaq vs Wallace. I'm guessing the league may not be too happy with their fans???

My question is this .... has a team ever come back to tie it up 3-3 after being down 0-3 ???
