It is pretty amazing to watch Petrie sound like he's saying something important/intelligent, but he really hasn't answered the question or revealed anything he doesn't want to. He must frustrate the heck out of the media, which makes him entertaining to watch or read, for me.

Petrie goes around in circles which is typical of people who really does not have a plan in their head. They really have no plans in their mind to explain, so that they don't really reveal much when interviewed.These people just hope things will just turn alright by itself, which oftenly does not happen as is the case with the Kings for a long time now.

It's extremely difficult to imagine how detailing his FA and trade plans would benefit anyone. I'm not an unconditional defender of GP, but that's not a good reason to criticise him.

I get the impression that English is not his native language.

I'm not defending his critique of Petrie, which I think is unfounded, but there's a difference between ignorance and language issues.

If that's the case then my bad. Not trying to be a jerk to someone who it's not their native language. However, if that is the case, then he probably shouldn't be poking fun at Petries interview because it seems he doesn't understand that Petrie is speaking in thinly veiled tongues so as not to tip his hand. Petries track record is such that he doesn't tip his hand and then moves come out of nowhere. I wouldn't intimate that Petrie is an idiot and doesn't know whats going on if I were him, not every GM can build championship caliber teams with 2 different franchises, barely a decade apart....

I am not an unconditional supporter of Petrie but as close as anyone here. He'll never say what he is going to do yet at the same time entertain the media. Not sure why that should be criticized. The last thing an active player wants to hear from any source is that he is on the trading block or even that he is perceived as a weakness on his own team by hearing that his team is hot to get a player that plays his same position. He doesn't tell anyone what he is going to do and then for the most part makes a good move. Just because you and I don't have an opportunity to debate his thought processes endlessly and uselessly before he does something is not necessarily a bad thing.
