If you were a waiter and had just been chewed out by the manager for complaints of horrible service and an inability to concentrate on anything other than one of the customers' breasts, would you have the nerve to go and hit on that same customer??

Because, I'm thinking that would take a considerable amount of gall, and I doubt there are many people who would attempt such a stupid move.

Haha, well ... there's nothing to lose :) It's already obvious and the pride is long-time gone. Might as well go all the way.

I say DO IT!

well i'm not a guy but i'd do it too if i was about to get fired anyway. i seems like the waiter doesn't have that much time at that job left.

Okay, maybe I asked the question wrong.

I'm not thinking of a job security perspective, because I really don't think that was an issue anymore.

But, I mean, this guy could not have possibly thought that he had any chance of getting a date.

It shocked the hell out of me that he had the nerve to chase me down and ask for my number. But, given the apparent popularity of the "go for it" mentality, maybe it shouldn't have.

I take it this actually happened. I'm confused (as usual).... what was your role in this? You clearly weren't the puncher, I hope not the punch-ee, but you somehow became the target of the puncher's advances? I feel like I misses a page.

Not hit. Hit ON.

Guy was a crappy waiter. We went out to lunch for a friend's birthday and he took so long brining the food out, that she had to take off before her celebratory cake arrived at the table. Not to mention that half of our orders were wrong because the only thing he could pay attention to was my chest.

After we complained to the manager, the waiter followed us to the parking lot to apologize for the bad service and proceeded to ask me out and ask for my phone number. Just really sleazy.
