Our Bench could have been better

but what do we have him here for?? hes not a pg or a sg, just something in between that fits the suns style better than it fits ours.

i dont care what he is.... aslong as he produces while our starters are on the bench thats all i ask for....... and it looks like he could have done that if still on the team....... :(

LOL! He's a better back up than Jason Hart plain and simple. He was better last year, and as he's maturing and getting more minutes he is becoming way better. People fell in Love with Jason Harts "Defensive pg" tag but I haven't seen it. House plays almost as good D, IMO. He would start a lot of fast breaks for us last year with his D and he could score about a million times better. Even at the 2, I would take him over anyone on our bench.

but the way hes playing right now in phoenix, i never saw him do that up in sacto... his shot was clean and precise, but he wasnt scoring like he is now.... he just fits the suns better than the kings, and thats why his numbers are up, IMO at least

if i remember correctly in sac he was shooting like 55% and like 49% from three......... with more time he could have been a decent role player off the bench

im talking numbers wise..... did u ever see him make 31 points in sacto??
No but I saw him bust open 3's in Sacto, and score very well in Sacto, I saw him play good D in Sacto, and spark the team off the bench pretty well in Sacto. What were you watching? What you are watching now from our guards off the bench isn't even 1/10th of what he brought.

i did say that he shot well when he was up in sacto, just that he has a better fit in phoenix

hes bibbys brother in law.... if he wanted to stay or if we really wanted him, there would be know way of him going to phoenix... something must have happened... bibby may have even told house himself that it'd be better for him to go play elsewhere. who knows???

you are just regurgitating over and over that hes a better fit for the suns.... but yet u havent given us one reason why......

he wasn't ever really a part of the plans. House was only brought in for one year, to fill in for Bobby. The fact that Petrie picked him when he was virtually unemployed showed that Petrie can still differentiate between chaff and wheat.

I'd take Hart over House for back-up PG anytime. Hart was coming off a hip-pointer, plus obviously is and has been in the process of getting chemistry with the team. Overall I've been loving him, and it'll only get better.

For scoring? House, obviously. But he's an undersized SG. The suns are more suitable for him because of their style. I'm happy for him that he has found a home and niche.

Also, the Suns were playing against the same Jazz team we blew out.

About our bench, I still think long-term this season, we should get a swingman off FA to help with swing/bench depth. Spree is obviously outta the picture, nor would he of been a first choice.

ok here goes sonny.... the suns are a run and gun team that nash is perfect for finding the open man( or sometimes its barbosa)... both can find house for those sweet open j's... we on the other hand cannot do it as good.... plus as VF said, he was only brought here cause bobby got hurt... otherwise, we wouldnt even been having this argument... u happy now?

House Hart

PPG 7.8 3.7
RPG 1.0 1.1
APG 1.3 1.2
SPG .56 .67
BPG .33 .00
FG% .475 .406
MPG 12.7 14.4

House>Hart.

The Hart we saw in preseason looked like a better fit, or at least a more natural one, as a backup defensive minded true point. The Hart we've seen so far this regular season? Well, both the House of late last year and the House of so far this year was/are superior.

Hart could make a definite contribution here as a defensive change of pace, but he's simply not right now. Contract aside, if Hart played this way the whole season, it would be hard to see him retunring. He's just having no impact and certainly isn't keying any hoped for defenisve push right now. So I think the Hart/House comparisons are valid FOR THE MOMENT. If Hart starts to rededicate himself to defense and settle in, he may make it moot. But not yet -- right now House is having an impact, as he did for us down the stretch last year. And Hart is not.

100% agreed

I like Hart. He's progressing decently with the team, while playing well defensively. His scoring I think will improve from the inconsistencies he's had.

im telling you, bonzi, skinner and garcia to atl for johnson and smith is the way to go.... our 2/3 problem would be soulved for the next 3 or 4 years..... and if peja wants to leave we would have smith or johnson to take his place with martin and someone else to back up at the 3....

Sounds good, but I doubt it happens.

Except for Martin backing up at the 3... that's ridiculous, unless you mean down the line when he's more matured.
