Our Bench could have been better

I think we dont really need House but we should have resigned Mo Evans:(

Mo changed his mind in late July to more money and a multi-year deal, going away from the qualifying offer. It just wasn't gonna happen, sadly.

House had 14 pts in 17 min tonight, 50% shooting. I'd rather have Mo too, but I'd take either one of them over of the guys coming off our bench... It's not even close.

Are we going to report House everytime he does what his game is? ;)

He's doing what he did for us in the 2nd half last season with more PT. If we wanted him back for the Bibby back-up job, we would of signed him, and not Hart. Who I really like, and is progressing with the team. I expect Hart's offense to improve a bit is all. Obviously not to House or B-Jax levels, but like 6-10pts off the bench.

Just making a point. People around here are delusional. He's only getting 13 min a game.

Point's been made quite a bit anyways.

13 is more than what he got with us, and came in during the middle of the season. Obviously with Phoenix he's had a whole camp and pre-season.

Just Watching him play lately, and it's easy to see he's maturing and really contributing to that team(like he did for us), It just makes me sick to watch him go off like that when we desperately need a scoring punch from the guard position off our bench. He plays decent defense, runs the break and passes well too.

Edit: Just so you know he avg 11 min for us last year and he's only avg 12.7 now.

We can get a scoring punch/spark off the bench, while improving swingman depth. There are guys out there.

I think and expect we will get someone for that.

Yeah, I know the minutes, but what I said about his entry to the teams also factors in.

We better. I hope you are right cuz our bench isn't cutting it.

Eddie House had a huge 4th quarter to help spur the Suns in a comeback against the Hornets tonight. He dropped 26 in 26 min off the bench... He's no Jason Hart though  .

It is good to see him doing well. Just what the Suns needed, a shooter off the bench. He and Nash both outscored the entire Hornets team in the 4th q, Hornets 10 pts, House 16 pts, Nash 12 pts. By the by, Jimmy Jackson shot a terrible 0/6 .. all the bench points came from Eddie.

it definitely would have been more pertinent to re-sign eddie house than to sign jason hart. hart is still an unknown quantity who had one decent season as a backup in charlotte. we knew what we had in house. he's no b-jax as far as being a sparkplug off the bench, but he's a shot in the arm as far as scoring goes. given that bibby eats up the bulk of the PG minutes anyways, why not give a guy like house a few minutes a game to bring a little scoring off the bench?

of course, this all makes sense in hindsight, given the state of our bench.

What a surprise House broke 20 again tonight against Seattle on 9-13 shooting... is it January yet....
