I think its time to discuss the possibility that Vlade and Karl may be lying to us. But why do that? Every little thing will get leaked regarding Cousins right now. Could be that they expect it to get done by tommorow and don't care anymore.

This is a scary time, Woj does not put his all world credibility on the line for "possible" truths, he is known to be right nearly 100% of the time.
 
There's no doubt it's Boogies agent that is feeding woj at this point. And if that's the case I'd have to believe it's because boogie is authorizing him to do so
 
Kings would do something stupid like trade DMC right after its confirmed that vlade, karl and dmc wants dmc to stay a king.

As has been said around here, Woj was absolutely right with the 1st and Goal, we just fought like heck to keep our team. Yes we survived him once, but I wouldnt try my luck on beating him a second time, this thing has wheels.
 
DMC doesn't give a damn about SAC if he openly wants to go to the Lakers. Ship him off to PHI and let him rot and feel the wrath of ruthless fans.

Exactly. Hold on to your emotions for a bit and see who is right in the end. There are a few journalists who just don't hearthe same thing as Woj. I suspect people who have their own sources.

I almost am not worried after the Vlade pronouncements. He could not have been any more clear.

Its just the Woj factor that grates. I suspect this is very much Fegan though. We know what Fegan wants, and in a couple of years that could be really hard to fight off if we don't have something good going. Right now I suspect Fegan is the "Kings" side doing the negotiating and trying to talk the Lakers into dropping a deal on us we can't turn down.

Otherwise the only way this could be right is if something like this happened: Vlade hears Karl slime through another interview, approaches him, and says is there anyway this will work out? Karl says no. Vlade calls Vivek and says we're stuck between two egos here, what do you want me to do?

I'd do 2 and Randall for DMC. We are trading him within 6 and 24 months. So it's what we get. We'll be hard pressed to beat this later. Okafor, Randall, Portzings/ Winslow / Mudiay and a Ben and Nik platoon at guard is a good start and Rudy and Collision are there to teach them the ropes and keep us from being a total joke

I think the Lakers put that on the table on Thursday and I think it's at least 50/50 we take it
 
The Woj bomb says exploring other options too. If cuz goes Karl needs to go too since we're signalling full rebuild at that point and he can go ruin some other franchise. Hopefully its for a lot of assets from Phili, not a smaller pile from LA and DEFINITELY not for a pile of mediocrity from denver

This is the only thing that makes sense. It's also how Woj gets the stories. He does favors for his sources.

My guess on the timeline?

- Boogie is pissed about Malone being fired.

- Kings hire Karl. Feagan starts feeding boogie about leaving. Doesn't like Karl. In fact the rumours may have been true about his camp trying to block his hiring.

- Karl comes in. Boogie demands trade last month like Dave reported.

- Kings front office says no way.

- Karl on the other hand, argues that if he doesn't want to be here then let's trade him before this gets worse.

- Karl stupidly asks players how they feel about it (this may not have really happened)

- Word gets to boogie that Karl isn't opposed to trading him. Divide increases.

- PDA leaks inside info on these happenings to woj. Story builds momentum.

- Feagan continues to fan the flames, keeping the pressure on the front office and tanking his value to make the Lakers offer seem worthwhile.

- Boogie acts just like Dwight, saying he wants to be here while his agent pulls the strings.

- Karl still open to trading him. Front office doesn't want to. But pressure is building.

I have no doubts that boogie at some point made it be known he wanted to be traded. I believe Karl made it worse. No side has their hands clean besides vlade at this point.

Woj would never say anything like this if it weren't true. WOJ does do favors for his sources, but he wouldn't do this. I highly doubt it. WOJ is the most reliable NBA guy and to put his credibility on the line? No.

Mike Florio, an NFL guy for PFT, first reported on the Harbaugh being shopped by the 9ers to the Browns. 9er fans were calling BS. Why would any big writer put their credibility on the line for a "source"?

The FO is lying to us.

If thats the case it should be what do you want me to do ? it should be my reccomendation is that we stick by our All star centre and press forward - are you happy with this Vivek ?

Open your eyes. It's absolutely true Fegan is talking to the Lakers and trying to work out the framework of a deal. Doesn't mean Vlade will take it.
