Ryle said:Give me Gordon and Nocioni for Peja and I would do it in a second. Start Gordon and move Bonzi to the three and bring Nocioni off the bench.
bozzwell said:Right, between Gordon and Nocioni, you can have all no-defense back court and replace Pedja's dodgy shooting of this year, with a true bricklayer.
Kings113 said:I watch, and have watched the Bulls since their pick-up last January. Deng is already better than Peja, I'd say. But that doesn't mean we couldn't get him, especially since there were a couple roamings about it.
Nocioni, a true bricklayer? The guy shoots .49 from three, and 44% from field. Not a bad FT shooter either.

Actually just about any of the recent Argentinians -- they all play with a lot of fire and effort. Maybe its a cultural thing (or at least the basketball culture down there).
bozzwell said:Nice try.
Look at the line above (2004/5 season).
Don't get me wrong, I like Noce. He's carrying the torch for all of us "soft" foreigners. He dishes out the hardest non-flagrant fouls in the league and dives all over that floor like a man posessed. We can do with some of that. But I will be very surprised if his statline is anywhere near .49/44 at the end of the year.
I will give him that he seems to be playing smarter this year, especially since he is getting some time at PF, too.
Kings113 said:Who knows what this is, but on PTI they just had a topic on the Pacers with the sub-title: "Time for a trade?"
Talking about O'Neal/Artest. Can catch it again later on ESPN News at 6:30 (East).
Rowdyone said:Peja and Miller for J.O. works straight up and I'd do it without hesitation.

they also said J.O. for K.G. straight up. LOL>Bricklayer said:I wouldn't get too terribly excited about the PTI guys suggesting that Indiana should trade Jermaine. That's one of those believe it when I see it things.
bozzwell said:I missed the program. What's the story here? Why does Indy _have_ to trade JO or Artest?
Kings241 said:Ok i think this might be a realistic trade and would make the Kings better defensivly for sure while keeping the outside shots.

Successful Scenario
Due to Sacramento and Memphis being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Sacramento and Memphis had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
