Čarolija said:Why would Utah want Peja when they have Kirilenko?????? They are redundant.
BigWaxer said:Trade is interesting but then we become the Utah Jazz with a better PG. Toss in Miller so we can get Tag back (god help us) and BLAMO!
captain bill said:Peja could be played at SG, or this could be a 3 team deal. Guess I didn't think this one through enough, saw 'forward' under Harpring's name and didn't think about the rest of it.
Bricklayer said:Why is it that everytime a proposal is made to acquire even two players from another team we somehow become the "fill in team's name".
There ARE no "Sacramento" Kings. We've got exactly two players on the roster who were here two years ago. Two. EVERYBODY here is a transplant.
BigWaxer said:Then explain when I ever... since the time I have been here compared us to another team for trade suggestions. The answer to that is NEVER. Thank you.

Bricklayer said:No, that's been the problem with trading with Utah for a while. I had hoped that maybe we could swing Cat over to them, as 100% anti-Sloan a Cat might be. But now their area of biggest need are the same as ours had been -- OG, and if they choose to move Boozer, PF (although I'm not entirely sure they may not be thinking of Memo as the PF and looking for a center). In fact to whatever degree Harpring is on the block, the rumor has been its because he and Andrei don't "fit" together because he's more SF than OG, and Andrei is a natural SF, not PF. Peja would create the same problem. So in order to get one of those guys, and certainly both of them, we might very well have to involve a third team.
I still prefer my Peja/Brad/Kenny/Martin + pick + get back KG and Harping trade.![]()

captain bill said:as much as i don't want this to be true, i know you're right. it would just be a huge coup if we could pull something like what i proposed off. maybe a three team trade, shipping off kt, peja, get utah a sg from somewhere else, get us harpring/boozer, give someone else some picks. im sure it wouldnt happen though. too much work, and someone would have to give up a good sg and not get too much in return.
Squad907 said:How bout we throw in New York as the third team? They have pleanty of capable starters at the 2 spot, Crawford, Richardson and now Marbury as Brown has been predicted to do.
Peja to NY
Thomas to Utah
Boozer to Sac
Harpring to Sac
Crawford to Utah
Works under realgm 2533540. Who knows, with the way Isaah Thomas deals, nothing is too farfetched.

Me Likey.captain bill said:Sacramento send Kenny Thomas to New York, New York sends Jamal Crawford to Utah, Sacramento recieves Matt Harpring and Chris Humphries from the Jazz. Jazz get a pure SG, unload Crawford. NY has no PF (I refuse to believe that even Isaih thinks Jerome Williams is a good starter) and has a glut at SG anyway. Sacramento gets a good 6th man in Harpring and a decent big man in Humphries. This assumes SAR signs for MLE.
PG:Bibby/Hart/Price
SG:Wells/Martin/Garcia
SFeja/Harpring
PF:SAR/Corliss/Sampson
C:Miller/Skinner/Humphries
Our bench is now loaded with solid defenders and rebounders. Harpring could be huge off the bench. If Hart, Garcia, Martin, Corliss and Skinner can play well, this team could turn into a nightmare. Our starting 5 are relatively weak defensively, but at least we can rebound. Plenty of energy off the bench. This team could easily beat the likes of the Suns or Mavs, maybe Houston too. WCF against the Spurs?

Lets look at them side by side.
SAR >>>>>>>>>>>>>>K.Thomas
In league since '96 >>> In league since '99
19.8 ppg >>> 10.9 ppg
8.1 rpg >>> 7.4 rpg
2.7 apg >>> 1.6 apg
SAR Salary Rank:419 >>> K.Thomas Salary Rank:86
SAR NBA Rank:53 >>> K.Thomas NBA Rank:155
(salary ranks are how many people are paid more than them)
he is CLEARLY BETTER than K.Thomas
