November Games for the CAP NBA Live 2005 Dynasty

Hardcore!

Peter Daley feels another win in the near future...And Peter Daley also feels a big game coming on!

3rd game. Kings 2-0 @ Houston 0-3. Last game of a Texas road trip.

1st Quarter
Kings 26 Houston 27

Our first points were was a dunk, which was nice. After that, twix made a 3 pointer.T-Mac blocked our first shot attempted, wihch was not cool. Houston was doing well on offense. The problem was, the kIngs needed to stop them. Overall, good half. The key is to stay around in a road game. Juwan Howard made a buzzer beating three which gave them the lead by 1.

2nd Quarter
Kings 58 Houston 52

The KIngs got more tempo and balance in this quarter. We got some stops and great offense.Unfortunatly, Miles Clipper had some fould trouble, with 3 fouls in the 2nd quarter. 6htman jackson made a buzzer beating 3 at the end of the 1st half to give us the lead by 6. The player of the half was Sactown Fever with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 5-5 field goals.

3rd Quarter
Kings 83 Houston 80

Not much different quarter than the last one. We lost our lead a little bit, but by only 3. T-mac was on fire in the third. He had around 35 points at the end of the third. Tyron Lue, was doing good as well making a lot of three's.

4th Quarter

What a quarter! It was another game that was determined in crunch time. Jackson made a late 3 to tie the game with 1 minute 36 seconds left. Then, late oop to D and aftetr that Sha mad another dunk to take the lead by 2 with 50 seconds left. After that, Vasillis made 1-2 free-throws, so our lead was now 3 points. Last chance for Houston. Lue shoots the 3 and......
makes it. This possesion was going for the win. Sha tries a 3 for the win...... and then gets stuffed by T-Mac. WE are going into OT.

Kings 106 Houston 106

Overtime

Our second game in a row going into overtime. To startovertime we had NO offense at all. Our defense was alos poor. Tracy Mcgrady and tyron Lue were draining shots. The KIngs were down 9 with 1 minute 15 seconds left, and last chance for a run. We couldnt buy a shot. T-Mac made another three, then Lue, and then to seal it, Jimmy Jackson made a three. The Kings have lost for the first time this year. HORRIBLE overtime.

Kings 112 Houston 127

Player of the Game: T-Mac 45 points, 19-24 field goals, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks

Official post game comment by 6thman Jackson:

It's great to be able to contribute to the team effort. We didn't get this win, but we'll be back. We're gonna be ready for the next game. Most definitely!

Official post-game comment by Mad D (the player):

''I think Mad D should start at pg for a game, it is Mad D's other position. Mad D thinks Mad D would be a match up nightmare for the oposing pointguard, like Magic was when he played in the NBA. Only I play better D than Magic.''

Bball, Lue is on the Hawks now, you should update your rosters manually  that's what I did (even tough it took awhile). I could update rosters from memory now.

Sorry, but I am too lazy to update them. Plus it is too late.

Statement for Bball Kingsrock

I think Mad D should get what position Mad D is playing and you will play at the position I give you. Whether it is Pf, SF, SG, or Pg. ( BTW, you have played all those positions so far.) You are already a nightmare. Don't make me release you !! ;) :D

ROFLOL!!!! You go, coach!!

Official statment from Peter Daley...

The Peter is pretty impressed with his game. I am a sparkplug and I pride myself on that. On behalf of the team? We won two out of three on the road, the Texas triangle, no less. We beat San Antonio. We beat Dallas. We lost the last night due to us being tired. Nthing more. The Peter forsees great thing for this team.

I just got a phone call from Miles Clipper. He seems to think he'd make a GREAT point guard.

:D

I'll do that. Of course, he's also said he thinks he might like to be an astronaut so I don't pay that much attention to him.

;)

I heard this through an "unnamed team source," but being The Peter's agaent, I will try to confirm as soon as possible.

" The Peter has told me with the sudden demand for the PG spot, he feels it would be for the good of the team to give others their opportunity. He would'nt mind giving the 2-guard a try, even though he is undersized. He feels he is to quick for the normal 2-guard. However, he said, what the team wants, he'll happily oblige."

''How can Mad D be a cancer when his teammates are so willing to step aside?

Mad D knows the answer. The team should get rid of the other 11 players on the roster and clone 11 Mad Ds.''

LOL!! GO BBALL! :D

I will say a similar quote Brad Miller says: It was a big game but we came short and lost. DAMN! :D We're going home now so things will get better.

Just got out of a meeting with The Peter, and here I can confirm, he is indeed willing to let his PG duties slip into the background for the benefit of others. And Mad D, The Peter also says.

"Don't you mean 10 clones? The Peter is a necesity to any superstar."

Danny Herberholz's statements:
On previous statements:
"Oh my god, Mad D, you crack me up... just make sure to bring the talking onto the court, it could disrupt the opposing players, get them out of their rythym. *laughs*. I feel priveliged to have begun what I like to call the Statement Era here in Sacramento, I just hope my teamates, or me for that matter, don't go overboard with it. By the way, I'm also happy to play any position. I'm 6'2", but so what? I'll play some 2-guard, some 3. Hell, put me in against Shaq, I'll pee him of, then step on and re-injure his toe. By the way, 6thman, I'll step aside and let you be your namesake, but I'm deffinetly gonna win the 7th man of the year award! That is, if I don't start and get named to the All-Star squad at the point"
On the game:"Great game, guys. We hustled and bustled, but we couldn't do anything about Houston when then went on fire, especially since we're a great defensive team, with all the blocks and steals. Speaking of steals, I thought I should let the public know about my skills. I'm Master of the Steal. King of the Forced Turnover. Lord of the Fly-by-the-passing-lane-then-down-the-court-to-an-easy-two-points. Haha, all in good fun. Good game, nice 2 of 3 on the Texas three-step, and it sure is nice to back home in my good old home town of Sacramento."
On the coach:
"I'd just like to say, you've been really good at playin' us all an even amount of time. I greatly appreciate it, and I'm sure my teamates do as well. Except Mad D of course. No, just jokin', he knows what we need to do to win, as we all do. *claps* Great job, coach, keep it up."

Ok, here is the deal when I do updates:

- I can not do it on Kings games days ( unless on the weekend) because i dont have time (homework, etc.)

- I can probably squeeze in 1-2 games on weekends.

- I will post updates on weekdays only if I dont have much homework.

- Spring break, I will do many updates

Sound Good?

Whatever works for you, Bball...

Miles Clipper is just happy to be a part of it all.

This was the first game at home this year. It was exciting and the fans were energized for the game. Records: Kings 2-1 Raptors 1-2

1st Quarter
Kings 33 Raptors 27

The first points of the game was a dunk by Peter Daley. After that the Raptors, went on a 5-0 run. We started out slow, losing in the beginning but the Kings came back thanks to the crowd! We took the early lead heading into the second quarter.

2nd quarter
Kings 63 Raptors 56

The second quarter was quite similar to the last one. The kings aded on 3 more poits to there lead. Problem was there was no defense. The raptors were shooting daylight. The had a very high FG % at the end of the game and in the 2st half. But other than that, nice end to the 1st half.

The PLayer of the Half was Sactown Fever with 8 points, and 3 rebounds.

3rd Quarter
Kings 93 raptors 83

The Kings added 3 more points to there lead. The first three quarters were very similar and alike. We builded on more to our lead, and the raptors were still shooting a good percentage. But not as high anymore. I told the Kings to not let down your lead today. The Kings have done that in the roadtrip and lost our leads. In the last game we were up by 10(something like that) then we lost our lead in the 4th. I told them to keep your lead today and get ready for there run.

4th Quarter

Indeed, I was right Toronto went ona run. No a big run though. 10-2 run at one points. But the Kings held to there lead and even added a bunch more points to their lead. The kings were doing great defense and superb offense. This has been our best 4th quaater this year. I was very proud of my team! Go Kings!!

Game Notes:

- Vince Carter had 29 points (12-18) and 2 blocks
- Jalen Rose had 23 points (9-16)
- 7 players in double figures for Sacrametno Kings( 2 had 9 pts so it really should be 9 players in double figures just 2 points in total off)
- The Kings didn't have rebounds(because Toronto shot so well) only 29. The Kings average 45 rebounds.
- Raptors and Kings each had 24 turnovers
- Kings shot 63% from the floor (41%, 14-34 3 point)

The Peter had 9 blocks?!

is that a mis-type by chance?

**AND just handed to me is a post game transcript from the locker room

"The Peter loves this team. It's the most balanced team in the league. Almost 9 people in double figures. That speaks volumes. The Peter is thinking great things can be accomplished with this squadron. Great, big things...Oh yes, and Mad D. didn't start! Gasp!!! You know I'm kidding coach...Don't cut my minutes!"
