Yeh judging by the tone of the announcers I would have guessed the bees are defending champs. Plus the one guy said we should trade cousins, Hayes is a 3 and Evans isn't very quick.
 
The color analyst Gil McGregor is a former King (sort of). He was drafted by the Royals in 1971 and played in 40+ games with the team.

Well...if they're commentating based on the information they have in front of them going into the game (besides the Hayes is a 3 remark), They had a reason, however misguided or whatever, for recommending a trade, and Evans has seemed gassed right now.

But that's how most teams come into Arco these days, looking for a quick +1 to their win sheet, unfortunately.
 
Despite the fact they are now losing, Hornets announcers still talking about the game as if the Hornets are blowing us out of the water. Maybe this is how they normally act?

Probably. As much as I have criticisms about Peaches, at least he knows when to be somber and when we're getting beat.
