Noah, Gibson available

Noah is done and Gibson might not make much sense as a starting Pf in a league where it's mostly about mobility and spacing.
Gay, Casspi, Koufos and Wcs - our frontcourt isn't bad at all.

I was playing around on the trade machine thing and was thinking since the Jazz need a PG maybe we could do something like this

Trade works salary wise
Kings get : Gibson, Moore (back up PG), McDermott or Snell and a potential stud in Rodney Hood (who would be the prize)
Jazz get Collison and Mclemore and Felicio
Bulls get : Gay and Butler

I don't know if the Jazz do this i don't know how high they are on Hood but DC would help them a lot. Hood has the size and speed to thrive under in a up tempo team and he's only going to get better and he can play both SG and SF. We get rid of the two pg line up and Taj can play big and small at PF.

Edit: we could add Tony Wroten as a back up PG/SG as well
The Kings are giving up a bit too much. Gay, Collison, and Mclemore for Gibson, McDermott, and Hood. We would probably be able to get Gibson, McDermott, and our pick back for just Rudy.

The Jazz really value Hood, and they are in no rush to compete now (even if they are right there this year). They don't have an interest in trading for any veteran, stopgap PGs for the sake of this season. They'd rather continue to hold onto their youth and wait until Exum comes back next year. Even Burke is starting to come around as a scoring PG. Exum/Burke/Burks/Hood/Hayward/Favors/Lyles/Gobert can be a very solid team if they just keep them together and give them the ability to build chemistry.

(Though he may actually be a better defender there than on the perimeter!)

I've spent a lot of time focusing in on Gay's defense this year, and I've come to the conclusion, that when he wants to play good defense, he can. He's had some very good games, and he's had some absolutely terrible games. Not sure if one position suits him better defensively so I'll defer to you on that.

I think there is a very significant chance that SINCE Vlade is GM, we really won't be looking to make such a drastic change midseason. He's Mr. Chemsitry and vastly concerned with it. Its make your moves in the offseason, then focus on chemistry. Don't disrupt. Stay the course.

Something I agree with, unless a absolute no brainer deal falls into your lap.
