To pay trent, or not to pay trent, what is the answer?

If the 49ers are serious about one last shot at the SB they will sign Trent and get him into camp cause without trent, this offensive line is Dog S.

Man, this year feels like a Super Bowl hangover season. Just too much contract weirdness and not enough vibes going in.

Trent should have been done immediately after camp broke.

Im at the point where even though it sucks to lose Aiyuk, get Trent done for 2 more years and trade Aiyuk for the best offer you can get. Roll the dice with CMC, Deebo, Kittle and Co and get down to business.

Dude really did all that to end up taking the first deal he was offered?
No, the Niners early offers were reportedly in the $26M/year range. They came up from that after the failed trade talks with the Patriots (who reportedly offered over $30M/year) and the Steelers (who reportedly offered around $28M/year).

But I think the Niners this week essentially said that their offer wasn't going to go up and Aiyuk could either take it or start getting fined and eventually lose game checks.
