NFL 2023-2024 Thread

A lot of amazing stuff today, but what really stood out was how freaking nails our corners were today. That had what? like 7 pass deflections? No PI calls? Trying to stick with Brown and Smith is damn near impossible and our coverage on them was so damn good. I don't think I've seen the secondary play better. All three of Ward/Lenoir/Thomas were brilliant.

They play like this, we're steam-rolling everybody. It's the only possible weak-point on the team and those dudes came to play today vs one of the best offenses in football.

I didn't think they were great, adequate yes - Lenoir is a problem - and the game ball completely goes to the offense. The Eagles wouldn't have won even if they did well on offense. 49ers offense smoked em after Purdy/Shanahan started gashing them underneath. They had no answers for Samuel and McCaffrey's physicality.
