Yikes! Almost half of you folks have guessed that Eddie House will return.
All I can say is: 1) there has been no news about Eddie this summer, and 2) Eddie was on a SPDL team roster and was a no-show for the entire league schedule.

It's just a few tea leaves, but if I have to read them, it looks like Eddie has other plans next season.

Brevin Knight may be a viable option for backup point guard... but, the only thing holding me back would is that he has been injury prone in the past... but if he can stay healthy, he may be worth the $1.7mil vet exception and maybe a 2-3 year contract to back up bibby...

He was fine last season. He'd have even less of a demanding role than last year, when he started, where he'd of course be a back-up with the Kings.

I figured during 03-04, he was just traded and not given a chance by those teams. Must of been a combo of both injuries/trades.

Problem with Brevin Knight is he is a mini-PG and there is absolutely no way you can ever play Brevin and Mike next to each other. So Brevin is only capable of getting the minutes Mike does not, whihc is to say 10-12. When you have a big time major-minute starter, think you either normally have a lesser backup just to fill in for those spot minutes, or you have a more talented guy who can play alongside your starter at times. As it is, since Mike and Brevin are both small that's just not possible, and Brevin is sure to get more attractive offers from other teams than coming here to play for peanuts and get 10 minutes a night.

Well, maybe so. But from the news, and ever since FA started, only the Bobcats have mentioned him once, maybe twice.

So who do you propose we get for back-up PG? Someone like Andre Barrett? Or bring back House? I'd suggest Watson, but he seems too wanted by a whole lof of teams. Though Memphis does want to do a S/T with him.

What about Nick Van Exel for cheap? Sounds like Blazers are not going to return them and very similar to BJax.
