[Game] Nets @ Kings Game Thread -- 11/19 @ 7PM

LOL at Casspi not even excited about Beno hitting that shot, standing up like he couldn't give less of a ****.

Reke is interesting so far this season.

I was going by stats last season, but this year thanks to certain awesome people who will remain unnamed I can watch games online....Reke's BBIQ is really bad when you see it in action. The criticism is warrented.

Jumper is looking better this game. Drives looking worse (injury could be to blame). He really needs to make better decisions though. But he's a young player. And if he puts it together 20/5/5 is really just the beginning.

I think his problem is he was able to brutalize everyone last year with no one really able to stop him. This season teams have adjusted properly to his game so now it's time for him to evolve as a player which I fully expect him to do as the season goes on. But right now I think he's in the realization that he needs to switch his game up.

I haven't liked Omir's body language all night. Not cheering. Not greeting his teammates when they come to the bench. Just seems more concerned about himself than the team.

Donte is the opposite. Always rooting for his teammates.

Casspi is a competitor, butthurt he lost his minutes. I wouldnt mind him getting time ahead of Cisco honestly, but Greene has really come out of the doghouse with style.

No, I think it's simply if you're going to keep Cisco in the rotation while playing Head major minutes, either Donte or Omri gets squished. With Donte playing 30+ tonight, that's it for Omri. This team could really use a 2-for-1 trade.

I know you like Tyreke but don't be delusional, man. Explain to me how Tyreke has been playing better this season so far? I would love to hear this argument. I haven't laughed all day.
If you don't see it, it's not worth me explaining. It's right in front of your face. You judge based on emotion, from game to game.

The main thing that improved tonight was the turnovers and perimeter D(NJ shot 2/11 on 3s). We still only had 13 assists and scored only 86 points.

His J is a lot better this year. Aside from that he still has work to do but remember he's playing on 1 1/2 legs right now with the messed up ankle.

Win or lose, ANY game where our biggest issue is our shooting is ok with me.

Played good defense and rebounded well. We didnt turn the ball over. Thats what I want to see.

We don't have to make personal accusations. Discussing disagreements is what a forum is all about. If you think I judge games based on emotion, I think you base games on "favoritism", but this isn't going to get anywhere, so if you would maturely and intelligently explain how Tyreke Evans has been playing better this season, I, along with others, would really appreciate it.

He had a solid shooting game tonight. Don't let that cloud his other shooting performances thus far this season. He also had an air-ball tonight on a wide open jumpshot.. Just keep that in mind.

No I still feel like his J is a lot better. Maybe not his 3 point shot but his mid range game. I think once his ankle heals up he'll be getting to the basket more and his FG% will go up.

They say the 2nd year is the hardest for those star rookies. We'll have a better idea of how Reke adjusts by the allstar break.

We fixed the side of the ball we had to fix. Now we have to sustain that effort game to game while working on the other end. But if we can hold the line defensively that gives us a base, something to build around. Best part was it didn't just happen. It may have been the direct result of personnel changes and repeated appeals and focus in practice. Whcih means maybe its sustainable. Just having a random defensive game doesn't mean much. But PLANNING to have a defensive game, and then going out and doing it = very promising.

Most of what you say in game threads doesn't come across as mature, or intelligently thought out. It seems to be based on the last play a particular player made. Seems you overreact a lot.

I'll explain it tomorrow on an off day, where not as much emotion is invlolved.

Really great team win tonight - and we needed it sooo bad. The "Ds" Dally and DeMarcus came up big in controling Lopez and Jersey front line. Landry and Tyreke as our top scorers did plenty too. Plus, Luther Head kept Devin Harris and rest of their backcourt in check. Donte, Beno, all of the boys solid for 48 mins.
