NCAA Tourney 2022

Jaylen Clark guarding the PG at the point of attack then switching to the center and guarding him in the paint. Plus defense in either instance. Totally underrated. Reason why SMC hasn’t scored in last 7 mins. Defensive connector.

We’re in the 1h, so lots of time left, but I think Memphis will beat Gonzaga. The pace of this game favors Memphis and the Zags three point shooting isn’t enough of a margin for them to run with Memphis. Maybe Few slows it down in the 2h.

Duren is a live prospect. Not sure what to make of him but hard to ignore his physical attributes. Adebayo vibes. Bam ended up being way more skilled than anyone realised, so IDK if Jalen has that in him. But dude is big and athletic and has a motor.

Haven't caught up on any of today's games yet, just saw his name mentioned.

So many upsets, I picked the Zags to go all the way so glad Timme is pulling it together, he has a pretty sweet hook shot

This tournament has been wild. Wouldn't be surprised if we see a final four consisting of teams seeded 5 or lower. VERY highly unlikely, but if there's one thing that this tournament has proven so far this year, it's the simple fact that anything and everything can, and will, happen.

Timme is just such a good player. He can help a team at the next level.
yeah it's hard to place him. On one hand, it's hard to ignore the college dominance the last 2 seasons and clearly he has a ton of offensive skill. The footwork is amazing, the passing for a big gives him a real desirable skill at the next level and he's actually pretty good off-ball too as a cutter and finding the open space.

The problem is like basically none of his strengths are desirable for a modern NBA 4. You ideally want a super long/switchable 4 that can be an elite spacer and stars having elite perimeter skills (I.E, Tatum, Siakam, Dray, KD, Giannis) (Mobley, JJJ, Jabari Smith as younger potential stud archetypes) (Gordon, Grant, PJ Tucker, Crowder, Vanderbilt as more role player types). Timme is like the complete opposite of all those guys and he won't have the rim protection (or rebounding honestly) chops to move to the 5.

If he finds a 3pt shot, I could see him sticking as an offensive threat. Without it, I just don't know how you keep him on the floor.
